Credit card debt is a significant problem in both North America and Europe. According to the New York Times, Americans owed $937.5 billion to credit card companies in November 2007. With interest rates...  read more...

1. It should not be surprising if a private firm with a diverse group of employees and clients would not tolerate BNP members in its ranks. The BNP's raison d'etre is based on overt racism and people who profess such unacceptable views should find it more difficult to remain employed in a multicultural society. I have little sympathy for them. If I were an employer, I wouldn't want far-right-wing voters in my midst either. read more...

2. If we are to say that Americans are collectively guilty for the trespasses committed by their government, then I am afraid that every person in any country--living or dead--would also be guilty for the heinous acts that their leaders committed at one point in their history. Using this logic, the British are doubly guilty for having subjected so much of the world to a brutal imperial agenda and--indeed--all Europeans are guilty for the inherent racism that has permeated their cultures and societies. If the Americans can do nothing to erase the collective guilt associated with eight years of the Bush administration, then Europeans can be as progressive, open-minded, tolerant and multicultural as they want, but they will never shake off the centuries of imperialism, antisemitism, genocidal racism and their long-standing yearning for global white supremacy. But I've got a better solution: How about we banish the concept of collective guilt and stop passing judgment over people simply because they happen to live in a country led by an unsavoury government. read more...

3. White Rose members threw leaflets. The Weather Underground threw bombs. White Rose members faced the very real danger of death for their activities and most key members were, in fact, excecuted by the Nazis. Ayers ran and became a fugitive. Bill Ayers was just another self-righteous, far-leftist coward, preaching from the comfort of the West. Members of the White Rose were the true heroes. read more...

4. Obama is, on average, 8 percent ahead according to most recent opinion polls. But the problem for him is that this is probably overestimating his support by around 5 to 6 percent. Racism exists and people lie to pollsters about it. But by asking a few strategic questions, it is often possible to determine how someone will actually vote. I don't, however, think that it's fair to single out the US for its racism. When will a major political party in Britain elect a black, Muslim or East Asian leader and why have they not done so already? The UK is a multicultural country, but if you look at its pasty white political leaders, then you could never tell. read more...

5. Palin performed marginally better than during the Couric interviews, but that's not saying much. All that Palin did during the debate was throw about a few campaign slogans and one-liners. Her best moment was when she asked Biden if she could call him Joe. It all went downhill from there. Mind you, perhaps she eventually became much more substantive, but I missed it as I switched back to the Canadian all-leaders debate. We're heading towards our own federal election in 10 days and the near certain re-election of the Tory government. Palin is like an over-confident PTA mom, who will never admit that she's got a problem. When I saw her latest Couric trainwreck on YouTube (about newspapers and the Supreme Court), I found it so cringeworthy that I had to pause the clip twice. The poor woman was utterly clueless and so clearly out of her depth that it was painful to watch. read more...

I'm sorry for kind of forcing you to vote in my Mongol debate. Anyway, what do you know about Ashkenazim?
by Stranger on 04 Dec 2008 21:54:45
I enjoyed debating with you also. I will probably be around less too. Time to move on, I think. I will watch out for your publications. You can watch out for mine. You should be able to recognise them by their distinctive view point. Just remember : some conspiracies aren't just theories.

Good day mackenzie. and good point it always comes down to why don't we ban it these days.

Just popped on to say exactly what Innomen has just said. This site has gone to the muppets and the kids. Come join us, you are better than this.

Hey Mac. I've pretty much left this site for YickYak.com. If you ever have a mind to visit check it out. Your perspective and intelligence would be greatly welcome.
by innomen on 13 Jul 2008 14:55:59
You talk a lot of sense. Good to learn you are a historian. Could you possibly take a look at my 'Great Debate'? It would be interesting to read your thoughts on the subject.

Would you tell me why you have not voted in the Mongol debate? Is it not serious?
by Stranger on 09 Jun 2008 22:02:27
Now I'd like for you to vote in an old debate "The Mongols could have conquered much of Europe."

Mac why are there a million Brits residing in Spain?

Seweryn Bialer, and Edward Lutwak. I ask because these were authors that were used a great deal in classes, and i was wondering if they were slanted by your perspective.
by innomen on 27 May 2008 21:25:47
what do you think of Lutwack and Bialer as historians/writers?
by innomen on 26 May 2008 22:26:52
mac, I've been reading about the '61 peace accord with Kruschev and Kennedy. More pivotal than i was taught. Any thoughts?
by innomen on 23 May 2008 19:33:45
My goodness.
by innomen on 12 May 2008 23:17:16
Oh I just saw your post about the Hitler debate. You abandoned the Hitler debate because your arguments had been crushed. Table Talk was the only source for your claim, and the Richard Carrier article demolished its credibility, leaving you without a leg to stand on.
by Hidell on 12 May 2008 23:11:25
I don't engage in personal attacks. Personal attacks are removed by the site administrators. I do engage in candid criticism of Christian hypocrisy. Perhaps because you are a Christian you take that personally. I don't appreciate you stalking me on this website or conspiring with others of like-minded views against me.
by Hidell on 12 May 2008 22:35:32
And he blames me for personal attacks. The problem with this is there is an impass, and i grow weary of the same arguments going over and over. He muddles the refuting of points by pulling the debate to his overworked side. He wins, only because i am sick of saying the same thing continuously.
by innomen on 12 May 2008 21:34:52
tis the nature of the beast. i admit that he brings me to that level. Ordinarily, when debating, it is just not done. It usually just weakens your position. You made me laugh at making crop circles.
