Not really. It's where the book is worshipped and the words are parsed to fit the needs of those who need to control those who listen, and never question. It's because the actual message of Christ was...  read more...

This pushes my libertarian principles to the extreme. I don't necessarily agree that morality is a matter of opinion, but i don't find it relevant in law. I am glad that you had some exclusions, and...  read more...

5. So i don't really believe in an actual entity of satan. However, i do believe in a certain polarity of good and evil. Each having elements that are influential upon each of us and some perhaps actual agents of those people. I there is such an agent who works on behalf of the polarity of this negativity then he dwells in cruelty and hate. There is a certain power that is derived from these polarities and if there is a "satan", he then does indeed possess evil, just as some possess good. read more...

Innomen, FinschMe is a pathetic, worthless bastard. He can't debate and he can never admit that he's wrong. Check out this debate and you will see how I beat him like a rented mule. It is an objective argument based on facts and not opinions. You will be able to see that FinschMe needs Viagra just to grow hair. e_Courage_To_Admit_They_re_Wrong

I put a profile on the site. I will check it out.

When I am personally attacked, is it prudence to not fight back? To not demand that the accusers prove their claim? And the best defence is a good offence. So I expose them, taking the opportunity they gave me by their getting personal.

Yeah, not really interested. The reason I prefer FAA as opposed to other debate sites is because I'm not really the structured, competitive type. FAA reminds me of one of the old AOL chatrooms. Just for fun.
by Ballsalsa on 15 Jun 2011 20:37:14
I have realized that it's better to be explicit about what I have been implicit about before. Openness isn't wrong. And I don't go up to people to point the finger at them if they don't point the finger at me first.
by Stranger on 15 Jun 2011 13:12:28
Have a good one.

Ask "GrandCru," (formerly Grenache) "Ballsalsa" and "finsch." They are better at debating than most, and seem to have the time. Nevertheless, they are irrational at times with me, but whatever. I'm too radical to debate. I piss people off too much by saying inconvenient truths and defending myself against attacks, like the one that I'm anti-semitic.
by Stranger on 15 Jun 2011 12:22:54
How have I been? I've been evolving. I didn't know that you've been on another debate site all this time. Congratulations on being considered a candidate for President of your debate place. I'm in the pit of FAA and don't want to go anywhere else, since one debate site is enough. I doubt that FAA owners would do inter-site debating, 'cause they seemed to have abandoned this place, like deist gods.

Alajandro is kind of how it's pronounced. The second A is really an E, but that's it, yeah. I forgot your name, since it's been years since I read your name. I thought of Daniel and Erik, but they aren't it. lol. Sorry. I remember you as innomen.

I think that Mozart's Requiem is where I got the whole "Dies Irae" from. I like the syncopation (I think that's what it's called) in that song. Thanks for the suggestion, though. Anyways... I finally passed the dam algebra class I had to take. My mission of defeating pseudo-scientific anti-Christ doctrines here must wait because I need to know about "dark energy/matter." I have many regrets, but you don't want to hear any of that. You say you want to tell me more about God. What is it?

She would have had to start by 9th grade. I tested in and started there in 10th, but had come from another private school and had to learn first year French in the summer before I started there. I am eternally grateful to the teachers there. They were all passionate and dedicated to encouraging us to use our minds.

My ex wouldn't allow me to enroll our kids in private school. My 16 year old daughter had a paper due for World History and needed help. After helping her and noticing that she truly had no knowledge of proper composition of a research paper, I realized that they just do not teach that skill. They also do not teach multiplication tables. I'm trying to get my youngest into the school that I attended. It is impossible to get the oldest enrolled.
by my2cents2u on 24 May 2009 16:29:19
It does seem that many people lack even basic writing skills. I blame the public school system. I went to a small private school. Our writing was graded in all classes. If I had turned in a paper that was poorly written, it would not have mattered how well researched it was. I would have gotten a grade reflecting the writing in addition to the grade applied for the subject.

I'll try it out. I'll see you on there. Thanks for the info. I don't plan to leave here, but would like to avoid some of the little kid debates that are being posted lately. Gotta admire them for making an attempt, I suppose....they just don't seem to get any Have a great weekend...Hallie : )

I just left a msg for StBalders and saw yours. I lost the paper with the name you gave me of the other site. You seem like a wonderful and kind guy. I miss Balders too. Seems like a lot of the really good debaters are leaving. There are still great ones, but the absense of the others is very noticable. Hope all is well with you. Have a good day....Hallie
