2. It's a lot better being a herbivore. "Although we think we are one, and we act as if we are one, human beings are not natural carnivores. When we kill animals to eat them, they end up killing us because their flesh, which contains cholesterol and saturated fat, was never intended for human beings who are natural herbivores." - William C. Roberts, M.D., editor, American Journal of Cardiology Meat contains protein, which will produce an acid byproduct when digested. Dieting purely on meat will put you at a higher risk for osteoporosis. Also, meat contains high amounts of cholesterol and fat. The rest is self-explanatory. (Heart disease, etc.) Have you ever heard of anyone on a 'carnivorous diet'? Our bodies are more suited to process plants. Just take a look at our flat molars and our longer digestive tracts (which requires you to intake FIBER which plants contain) Lastly, deadly bacteria are often fond of meat. The list of symptoms upon ingestion is endless, a few are: Abdominal cramps, bloody diarrhea, and nausea. On the other hand, vegans are significantly thinner, have lower blood pressure and blood cholesterol than even omnivores. They are at a lower risk for diseases like cancer, diabetes, and heart disease. (I hope I posted on the right side -.-) read more...

3. The purpose behind uniforms is good. Uniforms are supposed to 'develop character' and keep everything in order. And, kids with different clothes don't get made fun of, everyone feels a sense of belonging. But, uniforms are often expensive, uncomfortable and ugly. You'll have to wear them every single day, no matter the weather. The uniforms may make people feel invisible, which will damage their self-esteem. Lastly, the uniforms often don't fulfill the original purpose. So, NO. Uniforms are not a good thing. read more...

4. Inappropriate content isn't appropriate, obviously. But young children are going to be exposed to it someday, and it's better sooner than later. The Internet is evolving to become a useful tool for gaining information. It'd be pointless to block some of it out. Also, it would be extremely difficult and time-consuming to remove all of it from the Internet. read more...

One of the very best is Mozart Requiem. I sang it in Petersfield festival hall, with a group of rural choirs. I understand it is performed all over the world. Wouldn't it be nice to just show up and sing in a concert.?
