About TyWhyHiTy:
I'm a 16 year old local of Cincinnati in the States. I love debating, journalism, and amusement parks.

I've lost a major interest in debating though since two years ago when I joined the site. So I'm not around that often, it seems like too many trolls have joined...

And dang that is an old photo of me... three-and-a-half years ago... haha

Although the murders did a cruel thing when they ended another life, a thing still remains- forgiveness. They made a mistake by making that choice, and they may very well regret it now. A punishment is...  read more...

1. Potential job candidates should be judged solely on their qualification and their ability to successfully perform the tasks they are given, not how long they have been unemployed. Hiring a person because he has been jobless longer than his competition is as ridiculous as hiring one man because he's black and his competition is white... Oh wait, that already happens... read more...

2. You have to love immaturity... And according to your profile, you're 10 years old. Under COPPA laws, you must be at least 13 to post on the Internet. Also on your profile, the second thing you list about yourself: "I'm very smart and mature for my age." This just proved otherwise... I mean, posting a debate about a personal conflict is just very childish. Sorry to offend, but that's the truth. read more...

4. Germany has been criticized for decades because of the human experiments they performed during the Holocaust in Concentration Camps. Although the Jews who were the victims of these experiments were innocent, experimenting on guilty criminals is no better. Animals are a much better choice to experiment on- most produce offspring faster than humans, many can be easily genetically modified, and they don't fight-back in a way that a human would. Also, humans had viewed themselves as the number-one species since ancient times- a rabbit has much less value than does a human. Even if this human is a criminal, their bad choices should not result in them being tortured. Instead, people need to welcome the idea of forgiveness and move past the crimes these prisoners have committed. read more...

5. They're not claiming that the Big Macs are filled with vitamins and will help you loose weight. Instead, when promoting the healthiness of McDonalds, they use foods which are better for you- salads, for example. These give the wrong idea (that all of McDonald's products are healthy), but that's not false advertising. Doesn't matter to me though, I haven't ate McDonalds for a year-and-a-half, minus one McFlurry. read more...

Hi--which are three Harry Potter books not of the series? Me and my SO have all but two of the actual series. But I'd like to know of the others. Thanks

hi wanna talk
by josie on 13 Dec 2008 18:54:19
Yeah. In the beginning of "The Wizard of Oz" Dorothy is hanging around with those three guys, and each of them say something about brains, heart, and courage. And then when the lion and the scarecrow and the tinman come you see they look like those guys. Then when Dorothy wakes up she talks about how they all were in her "dream."
by bookworm3 on 09 Dec 2008 02:35:29
Yeah, you can tell the lion is completely human...but isn't that the point? I think it's meant that way to show the resemblance between the lion and that one guy at the beginning. Just like you can tell the resemblance with the scarecrow and the tinman with their corresponding dudes.

They do sound like they could be fake. Who knows!
by Specter87 on 04 Nov 2008 13:47:57
Just Google it. I'd hope it was a real fact. I've also heard that Mel Blanc, the voice of Bugs Bunny, was allergic to carrots.

Sorry for bowling you over with sarcasm - I do that from time to time.
by joseph2166 on 28 Oct 2008 21:48:17
lol ok - if you really care so much about the argument you can go looking for 'real' sources. Although as I said I didn't see you using any sources at all - wiki or otherwise. Meanwhile I will save time by looking up unimportant things on Wikipedia.

In WWII when soldier were attacked with gas canisters they would take of their sock, pee on it, then hold it over their mouth. The urine would filter the hazardous gases allowing them to breath clean air.

Hi - on my wikipedia evidence in the moon landing debate. Would just like to point out what I was replying to: "If we did end up going to the moon, then the footage was probably fake and used to cover up something else." At least the wiki article gives sources! (check at the bottom - thats what the 'references' section is for on wiki!)

Did you know that your body reproduces it cells. It does this gradually over your life. It is estimated that you are an entirely new you every 7 years. Boggles the mind. I also have a fascination with useless facts. I used to skip lunch in high school to research these kinds of things.

Thank you for the response. I appreciate it. However, I did not make the claim that “everything” will come to an end, I only stated that it was logically obvious that “life as we know it will come to an end”. Also, as much as I would like to converse with you about such a topic, it’s rather difficult to do so when the basis for your claims are not falsifiable.

that is no reason for you to view it the same way. If you realize it is simplistic reasoning do your part to challenge it don't go along with it. They are wrong, don't join them.
