I'm just a guy looking for a place to voice his opinion about random stuff. This is, I understand, the place to do it! I will enjoy my membership here. |

I like to think of myself as pretty diverse compared to many kids my age. I enjoy the outdoors, reading/writing, and a TON of other things. I am a member of the debate team, so I feel that I may have somewhat of an edge here. I play the viola in the symphony orchestra at my school, and I am a track runner (my events are the 200, 400, and 4x400 relay). I suppose the rest of my interests will be apparent in the debates I choose to participate in.

If by spending more time in the sun you mean excercising and doing some productive things, then yes - I am all for it. The one negative aspect of spending more time in the sun that I can think of is tanning.... read more...

One of the issues of the Civil War was slavery, that much is true. But I was never taught that it was BECAUSE of slavery that the Civil War was fought. I was always taught it was because of the secession of states from the Union. Slavery just happened to be a heated issue at the time. read more... |

This is actually a work-in-progress. The mark of the beast and where the chip is placed is irrelevant here.
Under the pretense of immigration control and the war on terrorism, Congress passed the Real ID act in 2005.
If this sounds foreign to you, please note that RFID tracking chips are already in all new American passports.
The VeriChip corporation is also one of the leading infant protection corporations which implant the chips in children.
Leslie Jacobs is the perfect example. She and here family were the first to volunteer for the chip implant.
Simply Google:

Wisdom and Knowledge are requisites and products of each other. One is not more important than the other, and they must coexist for any real progress to be made.
Wisdom is the application of knowledge. Knowledge is information perceived as truth.
Therefore, wisdom is the application of perceived truths - timely action. If one acts accordingly, one gains experience and wisdom and knowledge. read more... |

The only language courses my school provides (excluding ESL) are Spanish, French, and German. Handy, if you are going to travel a small portion of Europe.
Granted at least 2 years of foreign language is mandatory for graduation (at least here it is), the selection of languages, however, is pathetic. I currently study Japanese and Latin OUTSIDE of the classroom, on my own time, along with track, orchestra, and debate and still manage to have a life. It isn't that bad.
A foreign language should be necessary, but a wide variety should be available. read more... |

Good job at actually phrasing a debate in the
proper format with a "resolved" in the header.

So glad to have a true debater here. Too many
here just put an opinion without debating, some
just leave name-calling comments, some just put a
short answer, others answer so many debates by
quoting the Bible...that kind of answer stops
debate. So glad you're here. Also, I don't know
your career plans, but debate will always be
helpful.
