1. Not allowing mothers to breastfeed where ever they want is disrespectful to the health and well being of babies and their mothers. It's only a recent trend to hide breastfeeding mothers away from the public, in the past no-one would have even noticed. This is false modesty. There's nothing wrong with breastfeeding in public and if people don't like it or are offended by it perhaps they should remove themselves elsewhere and leave mother and baby to do what nature intended. On the contrary to this argument breastfeeding is lovely and develops a bond between the mother and baby. Breastfeeding mothers don't go around without clothes on in public , nor do they feed in places likely to upset others. When a baby is hungry he or she needs to be fed and if that's on a train well try explaining that to a screaming baby. How can the sight of a mother and baby be in anyway disrespectful? Perhaps those who think so should have a re-think about what disrespect really means and ask if it's themselves who are being disrespectful towards one of the most beautiful , natural acts there is? read more...

2. If you talk about prostitution here - I don't see why any woman who wanted to couldn't become a housewife. Women have many more options than being wves and mothers and this is right too. It's not only women who aren't settling down and historically it's been men who have been much more free to up and leave and desert families. Not all men are born fathersand husbands either. Because a woman chooses a career or to limit a family doesn't imply that she's promiscuous at all. I means that she is being responsible and not pretending to be something she isn't. Women aren't born wives and mothers, they have been constrained by moral, social , economic and religous constraints until relatively recently. Any woman who does want to be amother and housewife should be valued but certainally not forced into that role if it's one she can't cope with. read more...

3. Humans are responsible for the extinction of many species and should be working flat out to make sure that no more species suffer. It is the case that human not natural actions have wrecked havoc with the natural world and to argue that we have no obligation to right this wrong takes away the duty of humans to protect the world. We have to think of the future and the natural balance which people have helped to undermine. For example, in the past , little or no thought was given to the future consequences of exploitation of animals and palnts for human needs. We are seeing the terrible dangers and consequences of these actions now. Most of the causes here are not due to natural selection or actions but to crude human intervention which needs to be reversed into positive action to save the world. read more...

4. Schools should be open to all people of all religions. The government(UK) is trying to discourage religious affiliations in education. Religious segregation is destructive to positive social integration and toleration. Schools and educational institutions should be non-religious. There's no harm in having a quiet area where people can pray, sit in silence, contemplation. This can be done outside lesson time, during breaks, before school begins and after it finishes. The idea of a multi-faith room for such a purpose is excellent and could promote better inter-faith tolerance and understanding but I think any time spent in this way should be outside the time allocated for lessons. Prayer is personal and not part of job of schools to foster religious education of individuals, except as part of subjects such as the philosophy of religion. read more...

5. Cheating is dishonest and should be reported. Cheating in school, college. Work and relationships usually leads to problems and unhappiness. For someone to cheat there must be a problem somewhere. It's probably part of human nature to think about cheating but most people know it's wrong and resist the temptation. Cheating is unfair and can do harm. It takes things away from people. Cheating in relationships can wreck families and if people get away with it they'll continue to cheat. It's best to confront or report cheats in order to try and discourage them and let them know that they will get found out. If people can learn not to cheat then they will be able to learn that what they have done is wrong. In extreme forms cheating has a poor effect on the economy when cheating takes place on a financial level. read more...
