I've never been exactly sure what the term soul mate means. From the context of the typical usage
I've heard it put to the translation of 'He's my soul mate' would be as follows. Yes I know he owes
me 2000 $ and sleeps around but I'm too codependent to risk being without anybody for more than ten
seconds so I'm going to stay with him despite the fact he is a complete DB.
But I digress. No your partner doesn't have to be your best friend. But it sure does help. |

I agree with you because I have a friend from kindergarten and he is my best friend! (I'm a girl)
But most of my friends are girls though.For some reason I just feel more comfortable with girl then
with boys sometimes!But if you do hang out with them to much he or she might not be your best friend
anymore! |

I'm not real sure on this on so I will post on this side. I guess I have never found my soul mate
but if I did I would hope she would be my best friend too. |

No i don't think so. It can help, but sometimes you just need a break and need to hang out with best
friends you know? If you spend too much time with one person you'll end up getting farther apart, or
if you have differences and similarities, it could work |
