I would choose my family over my religion any day of the week. |

Because people have to take care of the family, their health, and etc. Then if everything is good in
their family then they could think about their religion.
FAMILY IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN RELIGION!!!! |

It depends on the situation at hand. However, I must say that it sounds very self-centered to place
the importance of any personal beliefs (whether it be religious, political, or whatever) above your
family as if you would choose the former were you given a choice that would be permanent. Of course,
that’s just one situation and I’m not sure if the author was meaning to imply such a situation.
But I’d feel betrayed if someone close to me in my family informed me that they’d choose their
religious beliefs over me any day should a time ever come where both their beliefs and me needed
their assistance. I’m sure it’d make someone feel quite worthless if a person they trusted chose
a thought concerning a religious idea over them, an actual living person to whom they’re closely
bonded with. |

Well I feel a little like I'm cheating on this one but I would definitely think so. |

I don't see them as being separate. Going to church does not guarantee you will get the person right
in you. That comes from within. If you get yourself right then your family will know right, on
reflection. |

I would have to say most definitely your family should come before any religion. I think this is
especially true when it comes to certain belief systems and their rules, for example Jehovah’s
Witnesses preventing medical intervention such as blood transfusions etc, which could possibly save
the life of their family member; but instead they would rather let them die.
Another good example would be both male and female circumcision for no other reason than the
following of a religious doctrine. It’s unnecessary mutilation, especially female circumcision,
which is particularly barbaric. |

Family should be the most important thing in one's life. Unfortunately, this isn't the case w/
everyone and religion has broken up many a home. It shouldn't but it can *not always) but can make
individuals judgemental..... That will put a wedge between the closest of relatives. |
