You Shouldn't Judge A Book By It's Front Cover, But It's Fine To Judge A Book By The Summary On The Back.
Often, the back tells you enough for you to tell if you would be interested. I would put this in "miscellaneous," but some people buy books and not just borrow them.

I agree. That's how I always choose my books. There's really no other way to tell if they're going to be good unless you read the whole thing in the bookstore which kind of ruins the whole point of buying the book.

Yeah.

I also judge a book by the inside.

I agree! If you don't like the back of the book, you probably won't like the book

Totally agree! I am reading this amazing book called Percy Jackson and the lightning thief and it looks rubbish on the front but great on the back!

I LITERALLY look at a book and choose it by its cover and most of the time its a pretty dang good book.

I gotta say you're right but for most people, that likely isn't so.

Actually, you can't read the back of a book and say whether it's good or not. I thought Eragon would be the worst book I would ever read, and it turned out that it was awesome.

Not really. Stranger........

That is like saying if it is a reliable Daily Mail columnist who just had a nice meal with the author, saying "it's a great book" then it must be.

I don't mean any book-praising on the back, but the summary of the story or contents.

I judge a book by the contents only. It is not a lover you are taking home where you have to look at them and face them....;-0
it is a book: What it has is the words inside that speaks to YOUR MIND ONLY.
Reading, is a cerebral endeavour, not a social-interaction or a fashion-show: Where the cover is what one judges.

I disagree upon those bases.

Since the actual book is what matters most, you're right. But most of the time, one can tell how a book would be by the summary.
