Women Are Naturally Inclined To Hate Each Other.
Women just can't get along with each other.

Women get on my nerves. I have always been told I think a lot like a man.

 That's actually an insult to you.

When a man does something junky, he is told to stop acting like a woman. When a woman does something grand,. she is "complimented" by being told she is thinking like a man. That is no compliment to a woman.

You need to stoop feeling proud when you are actually being insulted. That is what is known as a backhanded compliment. You need that like a hole in the head.

Women may have in the past seemed to hate each other because TRADITIONALLY women were expected to wait until a man asked them out or to get married. They were not encouraged to be the one who takes, but the one who is taken. So there was probably a lot of isolation and fear not knowing if you were not being sought after because the right man had not come along, or if it was because you were just not wanted at all. This caused women to have a lot of rivalry and alienation from each other.

I get along just fine with other women, thank you very much. If women are naturally inclined to hate each other, then men are like that too, and perhaps much worse since they always try to hog each others' territories, no?

They are not naturally inclined to hate each other; that's simply just absurd childish reasoning. But they do in fact hate each other, it's just not a natural inclination.

Not true, because when they unite against a common enemy (like against a man, or drunk driving, or a porn store's license) then they work very well together. But take away the common enemy and it may get interesting ;)

Ridiculous. I work with almost all women and we all get along. Now, there are some people who just can't seem to get along with anyone....equally men and women. Men and women just "not get along" differently. Honestly, I think the opposite. We are inclined to to get along because our ancestors lived in villages where the women had to get along and work together, (as did the men). Some people are raised to believe they're the center of the universe and can't get on with anyone...male or female...like my ex LOL!

Personally, I don't think this is true. At least I tend to get along with other people of my gender. And I feel that they generally like my personality.
Anyways, I've been told that women actually hate each other... So much so that they feign friendship with other women only to gain ammunition for their gossip... Also, something about jealousy and competition over males is supposedly a big issue...
What do you think?

 I'm with you. I don't think it's accurate that women are actually naturally inclined to hate each other. I think it depends on the individual and, yes I have met some very childish women who find gossip to be an enriching part of their lives, but I've also known many who are not gossips. I actually had a male neighbor who gossiped more than any woman I've ever met. He even had a scanner to listen to the neighbor's phone conversations so he would have more dirt to dish out.

As for someone who would feign a friendship just for the info that they could get, that kind of person is worse than a regular gossip. That is not childish, it's mean and hateful behavior. I'm sure there are lots of women who have a jealousy issue and feel they are competing for the guy's attention, but that is also childish and demonstrates a lack of self esteem and low confidence. Those traits are more likely to turn men away from the women who do not advance past their dramatic teen years and learn to like themselves. Guys like confidence. No guy wants to be harassed by someone who is jealous of every other women he comes in contact with.

Oh my, I seem to be quite inspired by something tonight....I tend to get more wordy when I'm sleep deprived and I am very sleep deprived. I'm also sick. I think it's the flu. Not sure which one....seasonal or H1N1? We'll see. : )
