Winston Churchill Should Be Made Responsible For The Fall Of Singapore
Some historical writings have recently pointed to Winston Churchill, the Prime Minister of Great Britain, as being responsible for the fall of Singapore. Are you for or against this motion? 1. Churchill was responsible to the extent that he was a racist as exemplified by his statement that he was not going to see the dismantling of the british empire by the likes of "a brown skinned fakir" when Ghandi was involved in India's independence. Hence his low opinion of " the slant eyed yellow skinned Japs" in being able to beat the numerically more forces in singapore.

Did you just type this out just for your homework? Evidently Winston Churchill didn't expect the local Allied leaders to surrender since they greatly outnumber the Japanese and he kinda explicitly mentioned that Singapore was vital to the image of the British empire,.
