William Jefferson Clinton Was The Best President Of The 20th Century Because His Presidency Helped Americans At All Levels Because Investors And Small Entreprenours Earned Money While Mothers On Welfare Were Trained And Went From Welfare To Work.
The 1990's was perhaps the most profitable in terms of earned and unearned income. More ordinary people raised themselves up and became millionaires, Clinton's Welfare to Work program greatly increased the number of American who were thankful for a job instead of welfare. Clinton was the best President of the century, bar none.

William Jefferson Clinton was unarguably the best President we ever had. Period. If in doubt, let's look at the country for those 8 glorious years: The economy was doing great; unemployment rates were at their lowest; very well planned foreign policy; great advances were made in certain parts of the world under his watch - Good Friday Treaty in Ireland, Apartheid ended in South Africa. What WASN'T good about his Presidency? Yes, he had an affair with an intern - but it was a mistake and a personal one, one that did not affect the state of the nation. One that I think Hillary should have beat him with a cactus for, but I won't go into that...

Needless to say, all that was for nothing given the hole Bush and buddies have put this country in.

Hillary '08!!

"It took a Clinton to clean up after the first Bush, it'll take another Clinton to clean up after this one!"

In my lifetime, I believe Clinton was the best president, certainly compared to that moron currently in the Oval Office.
He was well liked and his policies were beneficial to a lot of people, he improved American economy, kept America from War, and he was well liked.
I'd like to see Hillary as President, so perhaps some of the damage that Bush has caused will be repaired and American can put these dark few years behind them and start regaining respect on a global scale.

Well, I am going to debate for this. I do believe that President Clinton was the best president that America has seen in a while. He may not have been the absolute best president, but I think he did more for the American people than all of the republican presidents put together. As they say, "It took a Clinton to clean up after the first Bush. Now, it will take another Clinton to clean up after this Bush." Bill Clinton did so much to help the poor people, the economy of the country, and more. Above all, he kept us out of war and protected our interests in overseas relations. Bill Clinton was great president who did way more than either Bush ever did. I hope that Hillary wins so that America can once again be the great country that it was meant to be.

No, the best president of the 20th century was Franklin Roosevelt, for his progressive economic policies and wartime leadership.

What most people do not seem to realize is that the economy is cyclical. While one administration may seem to have stimulated the economy, it could very well be the result of the prior administration's efforts. I personally do not think that Bill Clinton's private life should have been put on such display because he had a young daughter and she was shown no respect by having her father drug through a media frenzy. That being said, I do not find it honorable that the man had an affair in office. I do believe he was incredibly bright, but to be a politician one needs more than brains. He was basically a disgrace to our nation. On top of that, he always had the look that he was up to something. I find that to be a bit shifty. I have some sympathy for the man due to the media being all over him in regard to his affair. He is not the first President to have an affair while in office. I think he is the one who was caught red handed.

Clinton continued the deregulation of housing and finacial markets and the dismantling of system safeguards set up after the great depression that have played a part in the current economic downturn.

Not to mention Nafta.

The whole issue of abortion demonstrates God’s divine judgment. If we get still get upset over 58,000 killed in just one Vietnam, shouldn't we get more upset over 1,000 Vietnams? The deaths of 1,000 Vietnams would be about equal to over 52 million innocent babies who have been murdered in America since the Roe vs. Wade Supreme Court decision, on January 22, 1973, that made abortion legal. Over 1,500,000 babies, about 30 Vietnams, have been killed every year for the last 37 years in this ongoing tragedy of epic proportions.

Some babies are still being murdered by a barbaric abortion procedure called "Partial-Birth Abortion." As a live, full term baby is about to be born, it is turned so that the feet are delivered first and then long scissors are thrust into the base of the skull while only the head remains inside the mother. A tube is inserted, the baby's brain is sucked out, and the head collapses to make delivery of the dead baby easier.

Laws outlawing this evil practice were vetoed time and time again by President Bill Clinton. These little babies were no longer just another part of their mother’s tissue. At the moment of conception, these babies were little people who had their own unique DNA. We need to repeat this again and again; At the moment of conception, these babies were little people who had their own unique DNA. They had a God-given, inalienable right to life, which began at conception, as a gift from the Lord.

At conception, the mother’s relationship to that new little person who is growing inside her body must change. All mothers have a stewardship (management of another person’s property entrusted to their care by the Lord) responsibility to protect those tiny, new lives. God knew those little people before He created the heavens and the earth and His wrath burns white hot against those who take part in ending their precious little lives.

Jeremiah 1:5
5. "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you;

The killing of a defenseless human being is pure evil. All governments, the good ones and the bad ones, are ordained by God and have the right and obligation to bear the sword against those who practice evil.

Romans 13:3
3. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same.
4. For he is God's minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God's minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil.

Whenever we don't execute murderers, we build up blood that has not been paid for … unrequited blood. Every unanswered murder causes judgment to build up against ourselves and against our nation. The Lord demands a reckoning from animals who kill men and from men who kill men.

Genesis 9:5
5. Surely for your lifeblood I will demand a reckoning; from the hand of every beast I will require it, and from the hand of man. From the hand of every man’s brother I will require the life of man.
6. Whoever sheds man's blood, by man his blood shall be shed; for in the image of God He made man.

Can God bless America? God is no longer blessing America as He once did. God is removing His hand of blessing from America because our leaders will not execute murders and convicted perverts. There should be no life sentences or “death row.” Justice delayed is justice denied. One of the ways that the Lord can punish a nation is to have that nation destroyed by another nation. Another way to punish a nation is to spiritually blind the people of that nation so that they elect bad leaders for themselves … it’s the moral equivalent of you shooting yourself in your foot. This is a perfect example of Consequential Wrath … the wrath of sowing and reaping. That explains why we were saddled with a president like Bill Clinton who is a serial adulterer, an impeached and disbarred perjurer, and a baby killer. In actuality, we didn't deserve someone as good as Bill Clinton. We deserved someone much worse.

Because our society has continued to condone the killing of babies and acts of perversion, God has seen fit to punish America even further with the election of an inexperienced, unqualified, pro-abortion, pro-homosexual, and pro-Marxism executive named Barack Obama in addition to the rest of the adulterers, perverts, liars, and thieves in congress. Before he was elected president, Barack Obama voted to allow sodomites and sodomettes to marry and voted four times against the “Born Alive Infant Protection Act.” Babies who were to have been aborted, but were still alive when delivered, should have been protected. Instead, the doctors and nurses did not provide care for those newborn little people but took them into a dirty laundry room where they were left alone to die without any further medical help. Videotape exists showing a doctor strangling a baby. Barack Obama is so radical that he believes in killing babies after they have been born … this is infanticide, pure and simple. Just like Bill Clinton, Barack Obama also voted numerous times to allow “Partial-Birth Abortion” killings to continue.

Is it still possible to reverse our punishment? Maybe … it all depends on the sincerity of our repentance.

2 Chronicles 7:14
14. "if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

One thing that really stood out to me,which i didn't like, was that he severely cut down on military, so as to that they weren't really getting paid anything. You see, i'm part of a military family, and soon to join the U.S. Military, it kinda hurt when he did that

FDR and Slick Willie, or should I say, Sick Willie Clinton, were the greatest disappointments to the human race, in the history of History.
Spit on their presidencies and on their memories.

Thomas Jefferson, and Ronald Reagan were the only two great Presidents, for certain fact. Period.

I totally agree with you. Bill Clinton benefited from the Republican Presidents that were in office prior to him. People do not understand how politics works and the trickle down effect. It baffles me. The man had an affair in the White House, lied under oath and people are willing to say he is the greatest president. I would love to know who they think the worst president was. My guess is they are liberals and probably just like other liberals. I am with you on the conservatives. Reagan was the best President of our time.

Clinton brought disgrace to the Presidency. He lied to the Grand Jury, He loathed the military, he cut back on the military. He ignored three terrorist attacks, U.S.S. Cole bombing, the bombing of our Embassy in Beruit, Lebbanon and the first attack on the World Trade Centers. If he had done something we might not be in Iraq today. Also does the name Whitewater strike a familiar note, and the name Vince Foster.

Don't forget giving away super computers which we are now being targeted with from Korea, selling cemettery plots in Arlington Cemetry (which is only for war heros) just for a buck, rent out the Lincoln bedroom for a buck. Don't for get filegate where Bill and Hillary had Stolen FBI files and many politicians were doing just what they wanted (I wonder why) Bill tried to give our deep water port in LA to a company that had been busted for shipping in illegal machine guns into the US, sneeking 3000 presidential orders thru congress and the senate during times when they were in recess I could go on and on and on get educated!

The only reason his term was profitable was because of the Internet boom, and that was not attributed to him.

No, Clinton wasn't the best by any means, although compared to the last 8 years, he's lightyears ahead of anything Bush has ever dreamed of achieving.

As for Clinton and the deficit, he came up with a surplus after making payments to the principle and interest on the debt, he certainly didn't pay it off. Considering that we're paying about $400 billion a year in just interest right now, that's a considerable achievement, but he still didn't make a dent in the scheme of things.

I would probably rate both of the Roosevelt presidents more highly but you make some good points. Clinton was a great president. Before him, the American budget deficit seemed almost unmanageable. Amazingly, he managed to turn it around and achieve a surplus. Then along comes another dunderheaded republican and starts with the soaring deficits again.

Of course, some of his economic achievements may be partly due to the coincidence of his presidency with the emergence of the internet boom, but he deserves some credit nonetheless.
