"extremists"Will From Any Religion Ever Understand That They Are The Same
I have just read an article written about a Rev. Rusty Thompson, who in my opinion may be just as scary and dangerous as Osama Bin Laden. When will the neo-con, right-wing, christians understand that they preach as much hate and blood shed as any other religion. Please find the article and read it for yourself. Its terrifying.

What does 'Neo-caon' and 'right wing' have to do with it? You have betrayed yout true thinking. You simply wanted to vent and found a poor reason to try.

You lump all Christians into the same group due to a single article about a single man? You said it yourself.

I appreciate the general concept behind your post - that extremism is scarry and destructive regardless of which extreme they are taking it to - and I'd agree with that much, but 1) it is the very nature of extremism to reject all views not matching their own extreme, which means there is no chance they'll ever see each other as truly the same, and 2) It's an oversimplification to point to just one or two character traits and then say they're the same. A totalitarian communist and a totalitarian fascist and a messianic cult leader all share some common behaviors but what each stands for is dramatically different. It's analogous to saying sharks and lions and mosquitos are all the same because they usually attack in packs. Not very accurate.

Probably not. Extremist doctrines are just so twisted, and the value of life so ignored by them, that none of them stop to think "Hey, this guy's just like me". They think only of "God's will", which is usually just the ambitions of their insane leaders.

Will mentally incompetant atheists ever understand that attempting to lump all theists, or even all Christians, into one monolithic group exposes the vast depth of their mental incompetance?

The mental competence of the mentally incompetent? Perhaps one day we will recognize the redundancy of redundant phrases. :P

Veiled insults aren't the point of the debate, here. You've said nothing about the actual thesis.
