YES. I don't think they even use real beef and such.
Also. They are advertising to kids too much. With the toys and the happy meal. And to working
parents who can't be arsed to cook. Then the kids grow up on MCDs and then they eat it when there
older and feed it to their children.
It's a never ending circle. |

Working as an environmental scientist you go to a lot of industrial sites and the security at the
plants where they make the 'cheese' for McDonald's has tighter security than military bases and
plants where they make parts of nuclear bombs. No joke. |

I only agree on this debate from the perspective than additives and preservatives and trans-fats can
kill people with horrendous degenerative diseases wreaking havoc on Society.
There should be ingredient labels on EVERY food product which is sold: Even fast-foods. |

I think that the government should regulate how the food is produced and limit the salt and other
additives as well as fat. This would make it so that even if you chose a fast food place it would
still be a healthy choice. This would help people that are on to run all the time as many of us are
now. |

Anyone who stuffs unhealthy food in their face deserves what they get, McDonald's doesn't force
anyone to eat there and the whole ignorance argument is laughable.
If you don't like it, don't eat there, just leave everyone else alone who does. |

Although I'm totally against transfats I have to admit that McDonald's is essentially giving the
public what they want. That in itself doesn't make them evil.
Are they ubiquitous, cheesy, poor restaurants? - Oh of course. But the food choice doesn't make
them evil.
The one thing they do which could persuade me otherwise isn't about the food but instead about their
name. They have a long rich history of suing anyone and everyone with McDonald in their business
name (to protect their branding). Often brand protection is legitimate but when they sue people
actually named "McDonald" who are literally just using their own given name I think that's just
wrong. They even had a major legal battle with some historic clan leader in Scotland I believe
where the name McDonald originated and both were fighting over who could legally use it. My name is
not McDonald but I'll tell you if I was sued and told I couldn't name a small business after myself
I'd be just furious. |

Skinny people eat McDonald's too. If some people have the habit of going for the same thing day in
day out it is their behavior at fault and their own dietary choice. Drugs are banned it doesn't stop
people abusing them. |
