Hilary Should Be Running For President
I had a lot of respect for Bill Clinton prior to this election but his recent comments(regarding obama) have allowed me to see him in a totally different light. He is being deployed as Hilary's attack dog.

If she runs for president America will see what it is like to have a person who don't know what in the hell she is doing. That's sad to say but true!

I don’t think that it would be a very good decision for Hilary Clinton to run for president. As her husband Bill Clinton was previously the president of USA, people would judge Hilary by that. They would be inclined to think that the rules and regulations of Mr. Clinton again be applied at the office. This would be a very negative thing or can be stated as the biggest disadvantage of Hilary Clinton to run for president. People would compare her with her husband in every now & then and thus Hilary Clinton will surely face some real trouble to drive the nation as a president. And above all people did not forget what former president Bill Clinton did in his personal life. The more he got scandalized the more he went far away from the general mass’ heart. This would pose negatively in Hilary Clinton’s president ship.

I disagree because I feel that Bill Clinton should not be respected or revered in any way. He has damaged the integrity of the presidency, mad his most controversial decision "what tie to where" and has managed to savvy his way out of all possible blame.

I think that Hillary Clinton is running for president.
She's an able person in her won right, a strong character who happens to have a former president as her husband.
This could work to her disadvantage as people will tend to think of Bill Clinton's terms in office and judge her by that.
For younger people, perhaps not as influences by Bill Clinton's time as president, they may see her in her own right.
I think a high proportion of women will vote for her as she is possibly about to make history as first woman president of the USA. This would do so much good for women's confidence in the political arena.
Bill Clinton blotted his good name by his extra-marital affair and many people wouldn't listen to him only his wife.
Why shouldn't he support his wife to his fullest ability? I don't think Obama would refuse to use anyone in his camp if he thought it would win him the presidency.
There's nothing wrong with what Bill Clinton's doing to help win votes and good luck to both of them. He was a great president, especially compared to what America has now and hopefully Hilary will be a great one too.

I think it has negative connotations. She claimed she found her voice in NH, yet Bill seems to be doing her dirty work for her. He claimed to be friends of the African Americans, but conversely attacks Barack Obama & what he represents for the African American community. In my opinion, they are both the biggest hipocrats who would stop at nothing to get elected. Haven't we had enough of their antics????

Come on! It is right that any two people opposing each other in an election are going to bat every idea around, back and forth. Just because Hillary or Bill challenge Barack, they are not attacking a 'black' man, but are attacking and challenging an opponent.

It is appropriate that Bill Clinton participate in the election as Laura helped W win the White House and Jackie helped JFK, and on and on. Remember, the wives of all candidates speak and get involved. That's the American way. No candidate is the 'bad buy' and all candidates can/should/will both attack the issues, not the person, and receive attacks by other candidates. Obama does both very well. Hillary does both very well. So does Edwards. SO SIT BACK AND ENJOY THEIR DEBATING ON STAGE OR ON THE CAMPAIGN TRAIL. LISTEN AND ASK QUESTIONS.

THE CLINTONS ARE 2 OF THE FINEST OF THE PAST HALF CENTURY AND THE HISTORY BOOKS WILL SHOW THAT.

I don't think that Bill Clinton is doing anything unfair. Mark Penn, the Hillary campaign's strategist, was one of several political consultants who believed from the start that Bill--who remains popular with most Democrats and many Independent voters--would help bolster his wife's chances. The Economist magazine recently observed that while Clinton is charismatic and is a very keen political operator, Hillary is far better organized and policy-driven. As such, the two complement each other quite well.

I think that it is perfectly acceptable that Clinton attacks Obama--this is an electoral fight, after all. Let's not forget that major US celebrities like Oprah have come out in support of Obama, as have key groups, such as Nevada's Culinary Workers, and much of the US media wrote gushing pieces about Obama, while checking all their critical faculties at the door. Bill just stepped in and put the spotlight on controversial and contradictory statements made by Obama, such as his comments on Reagan, since the media was not inclined to do this.

You are correct about Obama getting the endorsements of Oprah, but u didnt hear Oprah personally attacking Hilary. What she did was focus on Obama's issues and his platform.
