blacks went through 100 years ago. Whites are going through it now.. The anti racism laws and
programs are really anti white. Whites who need assistance can't qualify because they are not black.
The NAACP promotes racism and gets away with it, always steering emotions and making everything
black v. White even when race has little or nothing to do with it. |

Jesus said "Turn the other cheek." People before that had always thought "eye for and eye" but Jesus
taught about forgivness. If people are going to follow Jesus, they should listen to his teachings,
not the Old Testament-5 thousand years old jewish law. |

I disagree slavery was how long ago? Why would you bring it back? Our country has moved on from
that. And how can you justify slavery as an eye for eye? |

I have some stuff to say on this. It is outlawed by the Constitution and I think that many of those
who descended from slaves are trying to correct and make sure it does not happen again and not
repeat the same mistake. Why would they want revenge especially on those who immigrated after the
Civil War? It is only going to make things much worse not better. And "An Eye for Eye"?.
We do not use that legal system, this is the United States. |

How would that help anything or anyone. We speak of a society of peace and respect for other races.
It is being hypocritical to make white people slaves now that we have outlawed it. It's like
punishing a murderer by killing him. The executioner is as bad as the murderer. |

No one should be slaves to anyone. There will always be people who hate other "races" (even though
there is just one human race) and they don't need to be punished nor shouted down, but they do need
open mature conversation with the rest of us if there is ever to be a hope for bridging intolerance. |

country...Diversion is a very useful tool... Most Americans have never had any benefit from the
result of slavery... My Irish roots came during the potatoe famine pre civil war...my Portuguese
roots came in the turn of the century.... My ancestry is of hard working people... Low to middle
class.... I believe many in this country can share the same story... Someday Iraqi's will talk about
suffering due to this war... We as Americans will look to them and say....it wasn't me...I did not
