When It Comes To Sex, We Have Different Standards For Men And Women And A Sexist Attitude.
Imagine if you will, a young man going to a party, equipped with a condom. You think of him as a sensible young man, who realises that he might have sex so prepares himself. Yet if a woman takes a condom with her, you think of her as easy, someone who is asking for sex. Equally, a man who practices sexual promiscuity is viewed as cool, whereas a woman who sleeps around is a sl*t. A man who openly talks about sex is normal, whereas a woman is shallow. We have dual standards and it's unfair to women.

Probably, but attitudes can change with time.

I agree. It is very unfair for women to be negatively judged in those (and many other) situations. I think it all boils down to the fact that women get pregnant, men don't. Which (in my eyes) is no justification for such a low level of respect for women.
I think that both genders should be educated in "Safer Sex" and to also be prepared to take responsibility for their actions. It takes two people to engage in sexual intercourse, and two to conceive.

Yep. And its so imbecilic, really.

Women should carry a condom always, same as any male.
Sex is something natural, it happens, and better to live a sl*t than die an unprepared prude.

I mean, if were debating....

Morality, it would seem, should be no respecter of gender.

There is definitely something to what you say. One would like to think that those sorts of prejudices improve with time but sometimes it seems slow. I think in this area it is often women who are most vicious towards themselves and other women with these attitudes.

Even in the bible or religions, women have more rules or consequences.
Men can get away with much, carefully examine Deuteronomy, levitacus and any other book pertaining to holy doctrines. A man with 20 children have nothing on a woman with three. Simply put, an untouched or rarely touched women is a heavy commodity, take one home to your family and watch how they treat each different one, yet they won't even notice a man bringing different women home. More so than they would notice her dress, diction, children, makeup? Then it's a problem with who that man brings around his family.
