When It Comes To Corporal Punishment, People With Disabilities Are Treated Differently Than Those Who Do Not Have Disabilities.
One reason I am against corporal punishment is because PWD seem to be treated differently. I have a disability and I have been abused liked that even by people WHO ARE NOT MY PARENTS! Imagine being spanked in front of a group of people because you have a disability.

Are they treated differently? Yes. Is the way they're treated differently worse than people without disabilities? Not usually. If you count mental illness as a disability, it's illegal to execute one for a crime. However, a person without mental illness has the chance of being executed.

That's terrible. I think you are right. There is a tendency to patronise anyone who is dependent on others to any extent. If anyone who is not one of your parents strikes you physically again, you should report them to the police for assault. It's simple. If it happens in front of a group of people, so much the better. You'll have plenty of witnesses. Attitudes will change pretty quickly after the police become involved.
