| Wearing School Uniforms Is Bad |
| The white shirts are hard to clean, and children don't want to go to school looking like other children. Some uniforms are so stupid that children in Tenessee, where i used to live are starting to burn them. Plus children hate them. They like to feel comfortable and in their own styles, when you make them wear uniforms it takes away most of the freedom they have. I believe that their clothing expresses how they feel and they have to express it somehow |

As minors attending school it is really a decision for the parents. Uniforms do give the semblance
of equality as no one can judge you by your clothes which cuts down on children picking on others
for their clothing. It also teaches our kids that material goods like clothes do not make you
better or worse than anyone else.
If you want to stand out and express yourself do it through something meaningful like thought
instead of something superficial like clothing. |

I agree with momof3. I am now a sophomore in high school and I believe in school uniforms even
though my school doesn't require them. Now at school, more outfits are becoming more revealing and
it has no place of being at school. |

I do not think that uniforms are bad. They teach kids to be responsible and to follow the rules.
Today's kids are very insubordinate and they many never listen. They want to do their own thing.
They lack discipline. Therefore, schools have no other choice other than to enforce a uniform
policy. In addition, kids today dress terribly and many of their clothes are not acceptable.
Therefore, schools make you wear uniforms. It is the kid's fault that they have to wear uniforms ---
they did it to themselves, so they need to stop complaining and start listening more and doing as
they are supposed to do. |
