We Shouldn't Have To Pay Taxes!
We were only supposed to pay tax until either the end of ww1 or ww2( I'm not sure which) and the government didn't stop taxing us so really we shouldn't be paying taxes!

Instead of people getting payed THEN pay taxes, why not just have people pay checks lowered. For example: Instead of a doctor making $30 an hour just have them make $27.(if that makes sense)cut out the middle man, and also nobody would ever get in tax debt

Technically your right, it was supposed to be temporary. Many patriots have not paid taxes for years, these are modern day patriots. But they have to be EXTREMELY knowledgeable of constitutional law, one mistake...... In jail. Just as a side not, the US has also been under MARSHALL Law ever since the Korean War, it was also supposed to be a temporary situation. It grants the president additional powers, he/she is not supposed to normally have. You can tell this by the flags in our courts.... They are red/white/blue and gold.....this is military flag.

We have to pay taxes and do on everything we buy just about. What we shouldn't pay is personal income tax.

The country has always paid some form of tax even since Saxon times, there used to be tax on soap for heavens sake lol. The point is if people don't pay taxes how are things like the NHS supposed to be able to run? We need taxes as much as we begrudge them to keep our economy stable and fund our countries resources. People may moan about what needs to be paid into what, but at the end of the day do you want liberty with no education or heath benefits for the poor or to pay tax and give everyone an equal chance?

Most of us resent taxes and oppose them without even considering what they are being used for. The government takes taxes to run the affairs of a country. We are contributing in running our country by paying taxes. The government makes use of the tax money to make and maintain roads, schools and hospitals etc. Also, the same money is used to pay people working in these public service facilities. We pay taxes only to be benefited from them.

If we don't pay taxes how is the government supposed to get money to support schools and to fix roads.

I don't know the situation anywhere else, but in the US, had the Government been a business, it would have gone bankrupt several times already. We need to reform the government and have them stop wasting money on things, like trying to "fix" climate change, and actually fix the roads, and run the schools. Further more, why should the government have to fix it? Why can't we take it upon ourselves? Call me an evil capitalist, but if you want something really bad, should you be proactive in getting it?

That's what Wesley Snipes thought. Now he's probably headed for jail time. Unless you want to live in a state of anarchy, there will have to be a government. If there is a government, its services and operations have to be paid for. And that means taxes.

Taxes need to be fixed, not done away with, if you've got time to spend on this site and don't know how to spell which you probably get money back at the end of the year... Isn't that a good time of year for you? Taxes are social maturity. You just have to be exponentially more mature to look at how to set them up like they should be. Unfortunately, politicians here the word taxes and all they here is the word vote. They don't care, and they certainly aren't exponentially mature. Done away with? It'll never happen
