No, because drinking IMPAIRS the judgement faculties.
You do not want a bunch of drunk people out there driving around on the roads impaired.
That would be unwise to have as a law: Many car accidents would result. |

There are different degrees of "drunk" and to assume that one can drive fine at all levels is wrong.
Also if one is tired, sick, or has some other debilitating aspect they will to be as sober as
possible. There are too many variables.
It's as easy as: If you can drive drunk successfully then you won't get pulled over. If you can't
then you will get pulled over. |
