We Learn From Our Mistakes
When many people make a major mistake in life, they usually learn from it and they usually do not make the same mistake twice.

Yes, most of us do learn from our mistakes as we fear to repeat that horrendous problem again.

Absolutely.

Mistakes, are choices we have acted upon which in the past, have proven to not serve us well, so we have alternated our behaviour in the future from these wisdoms learned.

Experience.

Yes, I do agree with you. But some people cannot learn from their mistake. Instead of learning from their mistakes they try to make that kind of mistake again and again. They can't learn it. I think, it's depend on their personality, character, education and surrounding. But we should learn it from our mistake and lead a good life.

Realization is a key factor when it comes to learning from your mistakes. After you have committed an error you should take a step back and think over why things went wrong and how to achieve the desired results now. The learning or realization can be facilitated by your friends, family or even you can help your own self in the process of realization.

A person who fails to realize the error of his ways can never learn from his mistakes.

If someone fails at something, they tend do do something differently because they learned from their mistakes. If they didn't learn, and they failed at something, they would just keep doing the same thing over and over, which gets them no where.

Of course we do, although there are some mistakes so terrible that they are life-changing or even life-ending in their ramifications. It's just as important to realize that doing a stupid thing is stupid before you do it.

This is what the life is all about. It is called human conditioning. Life is a series of learning procedure that continues till the end. Anyone who stops learning is old, irrespective of his age.

There are some mistakes that last everlasting damage to our lives. That's why I say, Life is too short to learn from our own mistakes. Sometimes its too late to respond, by the time we realize. That's when we understand the value of time.

The real winners are those who learn from other people's mistakes and be prepare in advance.

Europe and Asia did, but the middle east wasn't involved, and the US just realized how powerful they were.

From most of the people I have seen, this is not true. It seems for a lot of people, even for me, that we seem to make a mistake a couple times before learning the lesson.

I tend to agree and disagree with this debate. I think that it depends on the person. Most educated people will learn from their mistakes. However, there are many people out there who can make the same mistake over and over and never learn from it. I know people who make major mistakes and continue to make the same mistake and sometimes, to a greater degree. These people don't care and they do not want to learn. Therefore, I agree that educated people learn from their mistakes, but there is also another group of less educated people who never learn.

I don't know if education plays as much of a role in learning from one's mistakes as does a sense of positive self esteem. If we choose to learn from our mistakes, we usually have a healthy sense of self and realize what does and does not work in our lives. There are also people out there with mental illness and substance abuse problems who are not capable from learning from their mistakes because they have an illness. It does not mean that these people are not educated. It just proves that they are not mentally stable enough to learn from their mistakes.
