My dogs and cats are more kind, loving, trustworthy, etc. Than nearly everyone i have ever met in my
entire life. Therefore, they absolutely deserve 911 services. In my opinion, most animals are more
superior than most humans, despite Western beliefs of a hierarchy placing humans on top.
The ambulances in my area will respond for an animal. I imagine that is the case in most other
places as they are usually private companies and you are going to pay them for their services either
way. Think of it as kind of like taking a specialized cab. |

My puppy is my child I pay more money for her than I do for myself I hate more humans than animals
and think that all animals have the right for emergency care just like spaying and neutering should
be cheaper humans have greed nowadays my parents were whipped into order while my arch nemesis gets
more allowance a week than I get in a year and she is evil |

We wouldn't even be in a position where we would have to care for, or treat NEARLY as many sick,
injured or dying animals if people would spay and neuter their pets and take ownership and
responsibility for them.
Like children, WE decide to bring them into our lives. THEREFORE, it is OUR responsibility to care
for them, provide food, water, shelter and most importantly, a nurturing, LOVING environment where
they are valued and respcted for the unique and special things they bring to our lives. Domesticated
animals did not choose us, we chose THEM!
Back to the original question, YES, there should be resources in place where family pets and other
companion animals can receive urgent and immediate medical attention if necessary. Should it be
linked with 9-1-1? Absolutely NOT, however, do I think that cities and counties should place a
greater importance on animals than they currently do. |
