There is proof to suggest that the area 51 thing was a government cover up. Apparently they were
testing secret unmanned aircraft which crashed. The public got to it before the government and the
public said it was made of 'non-terrestrial materials,' so the government backed off and went along
with the story. If I disappear soon, you'll know why, they've got me! |

If the aliens took one look at us, they probably wouldn't want anything to do with us. |

They are in all likelihood a mixture of weather balloons, airplanes (why do so many UFO sightings
occur in flight paths) and secret army airplanes.
A good example is the Aurora program which the US military denies but is almost certainly pursuing.
This program would create a hypersonic (mach 5 and above, so highly amazing to a civilian) spy plane
which has been confirmed to have flown a bit
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aurora_aircraft#Sonic_booms). Things like this could easily be
mistaken as a UFO. As for those who reject this as a theory, remember that the Nighthawk stealth
bomber was denied for 6 years after reaching operation capacity. |

I agree! The government does things without the ppl knowing about it. |

My personal guess would be more along the lines that UFO sightings and relating them to
Extraterrestrials are more wishful thinking than anything else. The fact remains that Unidentified
Flying Objects are simply UNIDENTIFIED Flying Objects... We don't know what they are and if we did,
they would cease to be unidentified.
The atheist worldview has led many to lose a crucial part of themselves, that there is something
more than ourselves and thus, people are desperately attempting to hang on to something outside
ourselves because we were made to worship God. Denying the existence of the One they were created by
and for, they are left with nothing but still have a need for the One they deny. UFO theorizing is
simply an attempt to fill that void |

A UFO is an unidentified flying object. If it was a military of private craft then it would be
identified and therefore not a UFO.
P.S. I do believe that all UFO sightings though do have a logical earthly explanation. |

UFO's are tricky sights seen by un experienced people who jump to conclusion too rapidly. More than
96% of all sightings can be explained in kess than a day of investigation. The remaining 4% lack
essential data for an objective explanation and will be classified as "UNEXPLAINED". Unexplained
does not mean : Out of space or secret private plane... |

UFOs are Unidentified Flying Objects that are found in the various parts of the world or in the
space. There are certain specific organizations that are constantly on the research of knowing what
these flying objects are. Whenever they will be able to locate their identity they will name them as
IFOs, or Identified Flying Objects. Thus we can say that these are by no chance any Secret
Government or Private Craft. They are just not identified as of yet but scientists are very much on
with their work to find out what they are. As long as they are not located and their identities are
not revealed they are known as Unidentified Flying Objects. Generally they are found in many
different parts of the globe and later they are identified by scientists and researchers. They are
not at all any Secret Government or Private Craft. |

Not probably, possibly. The shape of the "typical" UFO closely resembles that of a Cypher, shown

I don't think anyone has seriously suggested that UFOs were the result of a private sector research
effort. The predominant interpretation is that they are extra-terrestrial spacecraft; though some
believe that, either through the recovery of crashed vehicles or cooperation with the
extra-terrestrials, various governments may have acquired alien technology and may now be operating
flying saucers of their own.
Philip J. Corso, a former member of the military, claimed that the American government had
disseminated some alien technology, acquired from the crash at Roswell, to various private sector
companies and that the companies had used it to help develop various new technologies like fibre
optics and night-vision goggles. He never suggested that they actually developed flying saucers of
their own, though.
The only semi-serious theory that connects UFOs to anything in the private sector is the claim that
they were developed by the Third Reich and that a secret Nazi UFO base in the Antarctic secretly survived the Second World War. Since the
Nazis are no longer in government anywhere (except, arguably, the United States) their efforts could
be considered "private sector". |
