Treats Or Candy-once A Week Will Not Add To Your Weight IF You Balance It With Exercise And Fruits & Vegetables..
I think if you do not deny yourself, you will not overeat the wrong foods. Treats included.

It stems from the old saying: "Everything is good for you in moderation." If you have a well balanced diet but occasionally treat yourself, you are not going to pile on the pounds.

Overweight or obesity is the most important issue regarding anyone’s health and this epidemic must be restricted with a discipline manner by the help of your food habits. You have to maintain a balance between those tongue-wetting treats and candy with the fruits and vegetables. If you can feel free to exercise regularly, then you will be able to overcome the problem of getting obese. The sticky, sugary, chocolaty candies are all time favorites to anybody but everybody should maintain a clear balance in between having those stuffs and having the fruits & vegetables. Apart from this the habit of exercising regularly would burn your extra calories and keep you off from getting overweight. Kids create the problem very much as they feel the unavoidable attraction towards those candies & treats and thus they should be handled with much care by their parents.

Even if you enjoy a few treats each week --including chocolate bars, a creamy strawberry cheesecake, pudding or candies--you should be able to maintain a healthy weight, as long as you exercise. Most American chocolate bars contain approximately 260 calories, while a small bag of chips is usually around 230 calories. If you spend about forty-five minutes to an hour on a treadmill, you will be able to easily burn away these calories. Additionally, if you can walk to school or work, or leave your car at home when you go grocery shopping, you should not feet the least bit guilty if you decide to occasionally indulge in sweets or other treats, because you are leading a healthy lifestyle overall and burning plenty of calories.

I actually think that most active young adults can go ahead and enjoy one treat a day. What is important, however, is that they try to choose treats that are a bit more healthy, or lower in calories. For example, consider eating jello for dessert, buy low-fat pudding or exchange that Snickers for a chocolate granola bar.

Of course, anything in moderation is healthy, and can thus be sustainable. Anything at all - sweets, vegetables, television, gym workout, the list goes on...
