I agree. A lot of people do gossip and they enjoy it. If it is just friendly gossip such as catching up with friends then there's no harm in it. But people who spread gossip that isn't true will just end up upsetting others, which I disagree with.

Yes unfortunately it's human nature to do so. I think talking down about someone else makes the gossiper feel better about itself.
