Those Who Argue For A Strong 'Centralized' Government Should Remember That They Owe The Government $37,000 As Their Share Of The Cost Of That 'Centralization'. The Power Should Have Remained In The States.
That is what each man , woman and childs share of the national debt amounts too. Remember that figure every time you desire the government to 'provide' you with something. Just ask yourself 'how much more do I want to owe the government'.

No. Bugman would get assassinated for a noble persuit. He has to become a statist, otherwise he would be one lone dog (or bug if you prefer) with a agenda oriented congress. Check it out bugman, bankers rule the government, because the gov't is in debt...

Bugman for president. Bugman for president. Bugman for president--2012......The government's proper function is really basically to protect us from each other and from foreign bad people. What we need currently, is a government to protect us from the government.

I gotta go "For" on this one. Our national debts are simply out of control and there has been a definite shift of both power and resources out of the hands of the states and citizens and toward the Federal Government.

Please stop making new debates when you really want to make points on others.

Your national debt is crazy though, albeit not totally out of control. Check out Italy or Japan for examples of that.

Silly Quincel. I'll debate what I like.

I don't think it will make me feel better to know their debts. I live here. I owe this debt, I don't have to pay theirs.

As apposed to a weak centralized government like lets say a Mexico infested with corruption and crime against the local government. As long as you are a country you will have a centralized government. There is no way of avoiding that. The question is how strong and stabalized is it.

do you honestly think I will actually pay it? LOL. Please, the sky is not falling. Big government - small government. There will be government. I really don't see much consolidation if you ask me.
