function is really basically to protect us from each other and from foreign bad people. What we
need currently, is a government to protect us from the government. |

definite shift of both power and resources out of the hands of the states and citizens and toward
the Federal Government. |

Your national debt is crazy though, albeit not totally out of control. Check out Italy or Japan for
examples of that. |

As apposed to a weak centralized government like lets say a Mexico infested with corruption and
crime against the local government. As long as you are a country you will have a centralized
government. There is no way of avoiding that. The question is how strong and stabalized is it. |
