Those Expensive, Heavy Duty Toilet Papers Are A Rip Off
People buy them because the are stronger. They really are stronger, but the amount you use is dependent on the distance of the toilet paper from the toilet, not the strength of the paper. You always use the same amount, no matter how strong the paper. These advertisements fool people into thinking they need the tougher paper and spending more money than they need to.

Haha, I wouldn't know, but I bet they are because they don't look any different from normal toilet paper.

Sure. Personally all I need my TP to do is wipe, keep "it" off my hands, flush, and do it all at the lowest price possible. I don't need the limousine of TP's in order to accomplish that.

I experiment with everything I buy. They used to sell something called NuSkin. It was a cream that was supposed to remove dead skin. It removed so much skin I thought I should be bleeding. I tried it on my bathroom mirror. What do you think it created? The same amount of DEAD SKIN! I realized the product was a scam. It was just a cream that balls up like dead skin on ANY surface and made people think it was removing dead skin. I tried getting this to David Horowitz, but he does not do his "Fight Back" show anymore, and he charges now (!) to get a story to him..

Not only do I agree, but I think they do more harm than good. I have found that whenever I buy them, I spend a unusual amount of time plunging the toilet. I know that I still use as much regardless of the thickness. I just pull the sheet and never pay any attention to the amount of paper. I think that having kids makes the situation worse. They use tons and sometimes forget to flush. If I don't go in there and notice it hasn't been flushed, they add even more and it ends up blocked. My ex liked the kind with lotion in it. All I can say is....ewwww....who wants their hands to feel all slimy from touching toilet paper?
