There are many all-natural, even organic makeup brands nowadays.

Sephora.com has a few of them there: Look under "Organic" or "Natural" categories.

Sure, hope it was true eh?
I agree that it is good for us..
I don't really do much make ups,
I'm afraid it will do some damage on my face. |

They should because all the chemicals react with some peoples faces which is a shame! |

They should have a regulation that all makeup should be all natural. |

Such things exist already ;-) either wear no makeup, or do some research and find the all-natural
brands... EASY! |

There already exists an “all-natural” makeup -- it’s the woman you see in the mirror when you
first wake up every morning.
At the risk of revealing my old-hippie origins, no makeup is good makeup. I’ve never understood
why naturally lovely young women think they need makeup to improve their looks. In my book, most
young girls look worse with makeup, especially because so many of them overdo it with the eye
goop.
Older women who are heavily made up are an object of derision. Nothing makes you look older than
that horrible pancake makeup.
This is how I see the makeup thing: I wear none at all. The most quality men I’ve attracted were
when I was in sloppy T-shirts and jeans with nothing on my face but a big smile.
Girls, ask yourself: Do I want to be involved with a man attracted solely to my looks? NOT! |

I'm not exactly a makeup maven but isn't there a shop called The Body Shop that specialises in this
kind of thing? |

I am against this only because you say they should. They already do. So saying they should is
wrong as they already do. |

There are many brands of natural makeup. I am against the argument that people should abandon
makeup totally and "just be natural". For those who choose not to wear make up, that is fine. For
others, makeup is not necessarily about "hiding" one's features. Makeup can enhance or be used to
give a polished and professional image in various settings. I wear makeup, but it does not look
like I am made up like a clown. On special occasions, I wear more makeup than usual. I still apply
it with care. People tend to think that women who look "overdone" have too much makeup on.
Generally, it has less to do with the amount that they are wearing and more to do with bad
application technique. I have seen people look like they have a mask on, but they may only have a
small amount of makeup on. They simply picked the wrong shade or did not blend correctly. I love
playing with new and fun colors.
Another fact about makeup is that, some makeup is formulated to protect your skin. It contains SPF
and other soothing botanicals that can improve the texture of your skin over time. Always start out
with a clean face and wash makeup off every night, regardless of if it is natural makeup or not. |

I think that Cephus has a good point. They already have all natural makeup. However, I also think
that people should learn to accept themselves as they are. Everyone is unique and each person is
beautiful in their own way. I think that a lot of make up makes women (and men) look false and
insecure. Above all, most make up (especially all natural make up) is very over priced. Therefore, I
think that people should forget makeup and just be natural. Find your inner beauty and bring that
out. If people cannot like and appreciate you for who you really are, then they are not worth your
time. |

There are already natural forms of makeup, it's not something they'd need to develop. I'd much
prefer people just accept themselves as they are and not feel the need to paint their faces in the
first place. That would be much better psychologically and not harm the environment either. |
