| There's An Egalitarianism About What President Obama Represents To The American People. |
| I think it a similar analogical bonding to the quintessence of art's relationship with society...;-) |

People think we came a longway getting a 'black' president. Does it matter? Like people are so
insecure, they wouldn't mind having the worst president as long as he was black... Wow. Politics is
skin deep.
People dont know obama stands for it. They just go home and watch oprah. Go figure. We are alll
getting dumber and people exploit us and get rich from it. |

It is sort of a catch 22; this step towards true equality has fired up a lot of racist feelings
among a certain element. Perhaps this is to the best because it has flushed them out of hiding
somewhat like lancing a boil. And while I’m not sure that the word ‘quintessence’ is apropos;
there certainly is the more than occasional role of art forcing a society to face unpleasant truths
about itself in the hopes of inspiring change. |

I actually agree with you, and I didn't vote for Obama. There more of a sense of equaity now that a
minority is in office. Americans have come a long way purging herself of bigotry, but she still has
a long way to go. |
