I think that this is a really good idea. |

Good idea...;-) |

Sure, as long as they don't put the face where the bar is ='D Seriously, it's annoying to have your
forehead wiped out on an ID. The rest of it stays intact, but not the picture... |

It's worth a shot. They should just put your drivers license photo on there. |

Pictures would be great, especially if half of the cashiers out there even looked at the credit
card. I have used my husbands card so many times and they don't say a word. I just slide it and sign
his name and that is it. They have no clue that it is a male's card and that someone else is using
it. A picture might help but not if no one looks at it. |

There should also be a fingerprint scan
technology installed on credit cards,
that would really provide adequate security for credit cards. |

I think it would help to keep your money safer than the current system in place, which is just a
signature. You can forge a signature, but you can't change how you look (without expensive plastic
surgery). |

Not only a picture but a chip also. The smart card is very popular in Europe since 1990. In the US,
because it is an European invention, the smart card is not very popular yet.
Needless to say, it is the SAFEST credit card possible. I am not sure if the American banks really
want to offer added protection for their clients... |

I agree, it would be inconvenient, but well worth it. I think some credit cards do offer that now,
but I'm not sure. |

It would make the whole deal more complicated, and besides, people could just put their IDs on
stolen credit cards and claim them as their own. |
