There Should Be More Recipes Available For Vegans.
You still have to search quite hard for vegan recipes, though lacto-vegetarian versions of popular recipes are the norm now. It's not hard to make space for vegan ingredients.

Yes. If a person wants to be a vegan there should be recipes supporting their decision. It would also make their lives easier.

I am no vegan, but what's wrong with posting recipes for those who are. It doesn't hurt any way. It seems like a trend of today, but whatever floats the boats of the people who are what's wrong with that?

I have seen many vegan recipes. Log onto Kraft.com and type in the kind of recipe you are looking for and it brings up all kinds. I used to frequent this vegan restaraunt near my house that served this veggie, rice, bean and cheese bake. I know it doesn't sound all that great but if you tried it you would understand. It just consisted of whole grain rice, black beans, brocoli, corn, peas and some cheese baked on top. Put some tamari sauce over top and presto, you have a good meal.

Yes! We need to eat too! It also makes it a lot easier to cook for parties and stuff. :) You CAN make a non-vegan recipe with vegan ingredients, but...it's not as good, believe it or not. Yeah, I agree there ARE a lot, but there should be more.

We have specialty cookbooks for all sorts of things these days, diabetic diet, low salt, no carbs, vietnamese, chinese, etc. There are more and more vegans out there, while I am not one of them, I think there should be more recipes for them. Why should non-vegans have all the fun trying new recipes?

Are you in the mood for a humorous answer? No? Nevertheless, you shall get one-- I'm a Vegan (a Las Vegan) and we have lots of great recipes here. Come to Vegas and you shall get all the Vegan recipes you can cook!

Seriously, we have some wonderful real "vegan" restaurants here--"Rainbow's End" at Sahara and Maryland Parkway comes to mind at the moment.

There's a problem. There is a finite amount of recipes possible given the ingredients that vegans allow themselves to consume. Therefore, any lack of recipes is either because the limit of recipes has been reached, which is unlikely, or that new vegan diets simply haven't been published.

Are you kidding me? My sister's a vegetarian and she has no problem finding recipes. I didn't notice it was a problem.

So go look for recipes instead of whining. No one is forcing you to take meat into your own kitchen or dictates that you have to buy chicken wings when you buy broccoli.

You're pedantic, pedant. Your problem isn't a lack of available food. What you don't like is being unable to force your ideology onto other people.

I'm not necessarily against there being more Vegan Recipes I just don't agree that there are not enough out there and they are easy enough to find I come from a family that likes to try all sorts of foods so we often go online to find recipes now I won't say its 50/50 but vegan recipes are almost as common as conventional ones
