I agree and, according to a study published in a medical publication, meat eaters actually live
longer than the vegetarians and vegans. I had trouble believing that, but seems it's true. It is
not only the protein, but the quality of the protein. Also, meat contains different minerals that
are necessary for the human body. My intent is only to pass on what I read. I have nothing against
vegetarians. My sister does not eat meat. I used to be a vegetarian when I was a teen. I also do
not like factory farming and wish there was an effective way to make it obsolete. Hopefully,
someone will find an answer to it sometime in the near future. I don't believe that animals should
be treated inhumanely. I also don't think giving up meat with change the way they are treated
unless the majority of people did so and that's not likely. It would also only work short-term
because once everyone went back to meat, the meat industry would have the need to increase
production again. I buy free range when it's available. It's not always easy to find and the cost
is much higher. I believe that, due to the decreased need to drug the animals suffering from
infection on the factory farms, it is healthier. Antibiotic resistance is a problem and eating them
in our meat is yet another way that we are causing the resistance. |

True, we wouldn't have canine teeth if we were meant to be herbivores |

Humans are superior to all animals, so we can eat them if we want to. |

If you disagree then your a mutant human! Not even kidding! We are animals just like lions and bears
and like them we were made to eat both meat and plants so get over it guys! I guess if you choose
not to eat it that's your choice but don't come and get mad at the people that do just because they
are doing something natural for our species! |

Meat is a good nutritous part of the human diet. As long as livestock are treated well and are not
put under undue stress and trauma I see no ethical problem with meat consumption. |

There is nothing wrong with eating meat, it is perfectly natural. There is also nothing wrong with
abstaining from eating meat. |

Who ever disagrees must have a chemical imbalance in their brain. Its all part of the circle of
life. |

I could go further and say that if man did not live in harmony with animals we couldn't have got to
where we are. |

Derr!
There is nothing wrong with eating meat.
Economically though, it costs more to produce meat then for all us to be veggie people.
It is said that you would have enough to end world hunger... |

Who's going to argue that eating meat, in and of itself, is a bad deed? It's how the meat is made
that is the problem.
"As long as animals are farmed in a good none cruel environment meat eating is not wrong!" True.
But unfortunately, they aren't. |
