| Theoretically And Please Note That I Am Not Religious....God Did Not Want Adam And Eve To Eat From The Tree Of Knowledge Because He Knew That It Would Result In Our Destruction |
| Really without everything we have today like technology and the negative emotions that Adam and Eve gained from the Tree of Knowledge. There would be no war, no suicide, no addiction or taboo pleasures.
We now have jealousy, anger, zealous, which leads us to create guns, torture devices, bombs, etc.
God would have seen it all coming, and that would have been his reasoning for telling Adam and Eve not to eat from the tree of knowledge |

I agree with your description.
If Adam and Eve didn't eat from that tree, we wouldn't have been "enlightened". We wouldn't be able
to create computers, or cellphones. We would never indulge for the better. We would love no one else
but god. Life would suck.
If that's what happens when you live forever, please, gve me death. |

I totally agree. They are the reason the world is the way it is today! But that's why god sent jesus
to die on the cross for our sins. So that we would have a chance at making it to heaven! And just
bcause some ppl have great knowledge of the bible doesn't mean they are religious. At least some ppl
take the time to read it and understand it! |

For someone who claims not to be religiously motivated when speaking on this topic, your words sure
do seem to indicate the opposite. However, if we’re speaking theoretically and using a literal
interpretation of the Biblical story of Adam and Eve, I suppose I would agree with this debating
topic (keeping in mind that I do not accept the story as factual). |

Truth makes a good point.
God also knew the serpent would do something evil, and yet he created it. |

No.
God, was testing Adam and Eve's loyalty to Him.
It was to prove something to Himself.
Of which later, God repented that He had ever made Mankind because their thoughts were only on evil
continually; hence the need for the great Flood which wiped out the entire Human populace minus Noah
and his family. |

Well theoretically speaking I sure glad they ate that apple. Things would be pretty boring if they
had not. And consider this, would god really have expected no one to ever eat from that tree given
that he supposedly gave us our inquisitive and curious nature? |

If god didn't want "Adam and eve" to eat from the tree, why would he create it in the first place? |
