The World Needs Poverty
There NEEDS to be different economic levels of society for chaos not to ensue. No matter what the top of the hierarchy does to 'close the gap' of the levels of the economy, it'll be neigh on impossible and detrimental to society.

I agree. Survival of the fittest is a law and wealth is the easiest way to tell who is fit and who is unfit. We need to distinguish people who work hard from people who don't work hard. It is their natural right to be proud of their hard work.

Also, if there was no poverty what would we rich people give charity to? Wealthy people love to support their fellow man voluntarily in the form of charity and if there were no poor people we couldn't be generous.

Such "social darwinism" that you advocate was the precursor of eugenics and eventually Nazism. And that's not an overreaction in violation of "Godwin's law", it's a historical reality.

Different income levels yes, however, to if you believe that the world has a necessity for poverty you are either drunk or high, or you are such a callous being that I doubt that you are human. IF one believes that poverty is a necessity in society I challenge you to go to Africa, Haiti, and even here in America, to tell the child whose belly is swollen with hunger, and the millions who die of starvation every day, tell them, their families, that their suffering is a need for the rest of society, a society that shuns them, a place where they are not welcomed.

 You grossly exaggerate my thoughts.
I merely wished for people to debate whether the different levels of society needed to be in place. Not, as you say, visit poverty in it's extreme to shock me into submission.
Instead, I wish to hear your response to the following scenario, the one I refer to
---------
Everyone has exactly the same level of wealth, possessions and all things people judge people in poverty lack.
In this scenario, no decisions can be made, no actions on behalf of the society can be made because there is no top-of-the-ladder figure to make the final call. This is because there is nothing to distinguish them from the rest.
In this scenario while there is no poverty, there is also no production.
This is where my topic explanation comes into play - chaos follows, detriment etc.

That's under a capitalist society. A socialist or even a communist society have a better chance of people not living in poverty. They are not living the life of luxury but not extreme poverty either. Assuming all things equal with little or no corruption.
