Yes. The world is dying in the way that the modern world is coming to its end. A new transformed
world will likely emerge. Will the economic crash result in earthlings realising the economy is a
bit of a silly idea? I am confident that Nature will save us, well at least save the good guys. It
will be interesting, very interesting. I will be glad to be a witness. |

When you see a natural catastrophe, it is the earth groaning as in the pains of childbirth
ultimately because of our sins. |

I guess you could say that the world at this moment is "Dying" but that does not mean that it cannot
be prevented from death. WE still have a chance to revive it. If we lose hope now, then it will be
dead sooner. |

Yes.. People just don't realise it yet.. Or. They do realise it.. But just choose not to believe it |

I’m not sure how you use the word dying in this application. Do you mean that the Earth is in the
process of dying or are you stating that the Earth will die at some point? To answer the second
first; yes the Earth will die. Barring a planet buster cataclysm of some kind in somewhat less than
a billion years the increased radiant heat from the Sun will cause surface temperatures to rise past
what organic life can withstand. As for answering the first second, what you need to remember is that
the Earth is a tough old bird. Various circumstances have resulted in a 70-90% extinction rate at
least several times in her history and she bounds back quite well. And frankly we are a minor blight
at best. A hundred thousand years from now the Earth will be a green and verdant place with little
or no sign that we ever existed. The issues you are talking about aren’tso much a threat to the
Earth they are a threat to human civilization. |

This is a common, ages old delusion. The world is changing so it must be the end of the world. We as
a people have been wailing about it for thousands of years, and we sure aren't going to stop now. |

It amazes me when people say that the world is dying. It might be warming up. We might be close to
overpopulation. But I look around me and I see it is far from dying. David Soul (Hutch the blond
one) once said in England " L.A. Is not too bad, it isn't the end of the world, but you can see it
from there". I think I could see the world having a good shake up, I'd just hope I was one of the
lucky ones to survive it. |
