Its true its used to much but i saw it on St trinians so that make it OK just like it makes acohol abuse and grand theft ok too

Yes, people don't say omg like the letters but people do with lol...so yes people use the abbreviation ALL the time but lol is used MUCH more

You need to stop using it if you are repulsive with it. Like bandit's comment on the other side(a little exaggerating).

Learn some new words. How about the trendy, 'for real' and 'true dat'? Or, 'Oh snap.'

OMG is a stock sign, look it up. It's currently trading around $25.90 and hasn't been going up or down much all year. So if you put all your money in OMG you probably invested too much because there hasn't been much pay off.

OK seriously, OMG (Oh My God) is almost like punctuation now. It's used almost all the time and is probably only surpassed by LOL.

It's not a word, it is an abreviation. OMG Oh My Gosh, is that 1 word to you? Or 3 words? Plus I haven't heard it said very much...

Technically OMG is three words, and even put together it isn't a word. But I don't think it is. I've never heard anyone say ;OMG' in public. It seems to be reserved for MSN and text speak.

It doesn't harm anyone using it. Yes it is used a lot but not like it can run out...

It is not overused. While chatting you don't say;
