| The Word Meh Should Be Used In Conversations. |
| O.k. I had to post a rant. I had already responded to it a long time ago, before the frustration set in, and it wouldn't allow me to respond so there's |

There is no reason why it shouldn't be. The word is simply an informal colloquialism and therefore
there is no harm in using it. Whether it's used or not depends on the person and their use of
language in informal conversations. |

Meh isn't really a word, but more of a sound you make when you're impartial about a subject |

I couldn't care less but I have no intention of using it. |

I don't think the word meh should be used but i think the sound meh should. |

Those who say "meh" today are like those who said "um" in the past - neither group are quick witted
or erudite enough to think on their feet.
"Meh" is a sign of lacking education, not "hipness". |

I HATE IT!!! I am a female who is so way beyond frustrated at the frequent male usage of that word.
It sets me off that people can't have a more colorful vocabulary and are reduced to 3 letters to
articulate their emotion on matters of importance or general conversation. I t drives me insane!
Granted, it is a very easy defense mechanism for males(most frequently- I am not sexist, just
stating an observation) so they do not have to be in relationship hell by fighting. Because it
doesn't admit the other is right, it is a response so you can't hear a lecture about how you don't
listen, and it takes to to fight so you can't incriminate yourself by using more words to fight
about. Like I said, male coping strategy. But let me inform the general population that for non-meh
users, it is increasingly frustrating. Please bridge the communication gap. Only use meh in
necessary situations, its barely class up from speaking. Thanks, have a nice day |
