I think Bush lied when he said that America is near to win.
The US lost a lot of money, time and, what´s most important, human lives of young Americans!
Why did Bush went into Iraq?
1. Because he is looking forward to get the oil of that country
2. He wants that everyone thinks " great guy , he won the Iraq war !"
Bush doesn't want to help those poor people there!
That is the reason why I hope Obama to get the next president of US
He would bring us out of Iraq. |

We didn't have the correct intell in the first place, we didn't have enough incorrect intell to fake
as though we made a mistake by going in prematurely. |

This war was, is and will continue to be one of the biggest mistakes in U.S. History. We had no
right nor reason to go in in the first place. We were spoon fed a BS line about Iraq POSSIBLY having
WMD's, and the American people ate it up. The reason this war was so easy to sell to the American
people was because we were looking for some kind of retribution for 9/11, and Bush coincidentally
had the cure to all that ailed us, invade a sovereign, benign country that had never attacked us or
even threatened to attack us. |

I don't think that they should have been sent over there in the first place anyway
At the end of the day, i believe it was all for money |

Saddam Hussein never threatened your nation so there was no threat there to be snuffed out. Sounds
like you swallowed the Kool-Aid on that one. However, your basic point is correct. The United States
should pull out immediately. You are not improving anything by being there; in fact you are only
making it worse. The fact is that your military uses force recklessly, killing many innocent
civilians, embittering their families and turning them into violent militants. It is a
self-perpetuating process. The longer you are there, the more militants you create. |

I believe that the process of pulling out should begin, this war has gone on far too long, and there
were questions as to whether it should really have been started in the first place.
Saddam Hussein has, of course, already been captured and executed. However, George Bush stated that
the purpose of the invasion if Iraq was to ensure that Iraq is a free country, able to govern,
sustain and defend itself.
This was said back in July 2006, where Bush also said that "an artificial timetable" for the
withdrawal of troops would confirm al-Qaida’s belief that the United States did not have the
stomach for the fight or the perseverance to support the Iraqi people.
Bush Says U.S. Will Achieve Objectives in Iraq - 7th July, 2006
Is this a valid justification for keeping the troops there?
With the war having begun way back in March 2003, isn't it surely time to pull the plug and bring US
troops back home? |

No way we should pull out of Iraq!! If we were to do so right when Obama gets into office like he
wants to, the terrorist regime would group together unhindered, and take the gov in a coup. Then,
they would organize the people my persuading them that the hardships they are facing is because of
us, and they would be right!! We have to eliminate the terrorists and then supply the country with
the goods and services they require. I'm not saying we do it for them, we send the stuff and ask if
they would like us to help because we are accepting that this was because of us and would like to
help if they would let us.
That's what we gotta do. |

If you don't fight the bad guys over their you will fight them in the states.
If the troops pull out keep your guns at home ready |

Absolutely not. Pulling the war would be an extremely bad decision. It would not stop the war, it
would only bring it to the US. Do you think the people in Iraq are just going to be like, "Oh, OK,
you want to leave now? We don't mind that you killed so many people... Go ahead, no hard feelings."
Sure. Like that would happen.
What about all the soldiers sent there? My father was sent as a soldier. I am lucky he is alive
today. So many soldiers died there. If we just pull out now, their deaths would have been for
nothing. How do you think their families would feel? |

Hellz no!! Then they would come over here and attack. |

I don't agree with celva_olva on that they will bomb us again, I think that they will bomb the
nations around them. The United States is the thread that is holding together a massive firestorm.
I'm a liberal, and it was a huge mistake to go into Iraq in the first place, but pulling out would
be an even worse mistake.
Not only would countries attack each other, the different sects of Islams will attack each other.
Then Iran will invade Israel, and religious wars start. Let's not move back into the Dark Ages, we
need to stay in Iraq. |

No if we pull out of Iraq now they will come to bomb us again and if we pull out it will make us
look weak.
I understand where you are coming from b/c i had an uncle in Iraq and my cousin is going soon but we
cant pull out now. |

If we pull out millions could die who sided with us (just like Vietnam) and we would hand over the
country to Shiite terrorists...oops, we already did that :( |

The US should stay in Iraq. If we pull out now and don't help the government they set up get a
strong foot hold, the Insergents will just take control again. Why quit now when we have come so
far. |

The US pulling out is one thing that shouldn't happen. This war on terror will be a long one, and a
very long one at that. But just because we can't instantly 'win' doesn't mean we should leave.
Yes, we have already dealt with Saddam, but there are still many other radicals that want down with
western civilization. Many of these radicalists are in Iraq, so that's one reason that we are still
there. We are slowly 'winning' over there and many Iraqis are beginning to move back in. So far, I
think it was a good decision to go over there |
