I came from a socialist country to America for a reason , sorry but I'd rather not have my rights
stripped from me. The founding fathers built this country on freedom and this nation was doing a
phenomenal job until the government started getting involved. If you haven't realized the more the
idiots in Washington get involved the more we and our economy suffer and now we are allowing the
government to attempt sweeping up the mess they created in the first place. They are the source of
the problem so why are we looking to them for solutions!?!!!! |

I've always been very anti-socialist. The government should back out of people's lives and let them
do their own thing. |

What are you talking about?
The bailouts of the banks using public money is the biggest act of socialism in the history of the
world. If the US really were capitalist, it would have "let the market decide" as it claims when
small businesses want help. |

I think you are crossing the boundries between socialism and communism.
I believe a healthy society needs a balance.
Most hard working people who made something of themselves appreciate the breaks they got along the
way, and there but for the grace of God, are willing to give something back.
I find it funny, that a country as religious as America, who claim to follow the teachings of
Christ, bemoan these ideals as un-American? For me, to think otherwise, would be un- Christian. |

I don't think that Socialism would be effective because we are already using too many tax dollars
to support programs like welfare that only handicap the American people and keep them from working
because in the back of their minds they know they never will have to work because there will always
be Section 8 housing, Food Stamps, and Welfare. I want to keep my money. Its one thing to donate to
an orphange but that's not where our money is going. I am not even 18 and Im tired of paying taxes
already!!!! |
