Not seperate no. Personally I liked it how it was when we were part on the common market. What I
don't like is how we have handed over so much power and wealth to the now European superstate. We
are no longer in control of our own laws and soon our own foriegn policy, army and prime minister
(president). The corrupt, undemocratic monster that is the EU parliament is so riddled with self
serving beaurocrats that the whole thing is a waste of time and money and does nothing for the
people of England. Afterall we are being ruled by people who don't partiularly like us.
Unfortunately we are now in too deep after Mr Blair and then Mr Brown handed over so many powers
after breaking the manifesto pledge to hold a referendum on the subject. The politicians want it
simply because it is a lisence to print money once they have lost their seats in this country. |

No man is an island, but hey, we are..
Im not sure Im against.
I despise the increased beaurocracy and absolutely ludicrous petty legislation which beaurocrats
inevitably come up with for lack of real policy or innovation, but a united Europe for trade,
strength and safety could not be a bad thing. Pity it's not a united Europe. Cultural and economic
differences will always ensure an unequal playing field.
As England has always been the major player in the UK, their will always be more influence within
the economic capitals of the big hitters in Europe. Its a union of acceptance of the inevitable.
Doesn't neccesarily mean its a good thing. |

I don't think countries should be so strongly tied to the institution in the political way that we
are. Politically Britain has lost a lot of its power to the EU. But I am still against the UK
leaving the EU, we need the economic stability of the EU and I believe in the concept of saftey in
numbers and I don't fancy our country being the ones responsible for the break down of the European
Union. |

I think the trade loss would be too much. If we could leave the political union, but not the
economic that would be great, but if we do that then the EU will collapse, so we can't. Ultimately
the price we pay for membership is neither too high (compared to the trade gains) nor without
influence. |
