The US Government Subscribes To The Notion That Illegal Immigration Is Good For America
Not many other plausible explanations to explain the US government's impotence in enforcing laws on the books for over 30 years already. New world order or lack of forsight on the part of this country's chess players?

Oh yes, this is a complete fallacy. If we keep on going down that route, we will surely die of hunger . No kidding.:-(

Bugman and K9 both on the same side, who am I to dissent?

Seriously though, they're both right, except I would distance myself from K9s last para.

There is no such thing as "the US government" thinking one thing about anything.

Please explain. If you mean a system independent of other governing bodies, I would agree with you.

No, the corporations and BOTH parties think it is good for them.

No, that's what US corporations want. It's not the US government that's hiring them and paying meager wages. If there really were a law written to crack down on illegal migrant workers, companies like Walmart would be banging on politicians' doors while slipping envelopes of money under the door.

It costs corporations less in shipping costs if they can hire underpaid or slave labour in the US to manufacture their products, rather than using underpaid or slave labour in thrid world countries. And if large US farms were unable to use illegal migrant labour, there wouldn't be any food in the supermarkets.

Re-thug-nicans diatribes about "illegal immigration" are as much hot air as their talk about banning abortion: They're pandering to specific voters, they'll never actually do it.
