You should not restrict markets! If people want to eat that horrible poisonous garbage then let
them. |

I agree with what your saying. But fast food should be ate in moderation anyway! It self-explanatory
that if you eat daily in a fast food place your going to become obese! Whether it be mcdonalds or
bloody a Chinese takeaway. I may have a takeaway or a mcdonalds once every month. Moderation is the
key. That is why people are becoming obese because they're too lkazy to do some healthy home
cooking. I'm sorry but Mcdonalds can't be blamed for that. They provide a service, it is your
responsibility to how you consume such things. |

I can't post on the yes side but there are some points I support.
Is obesity the result of the addictive nature of the Big Mac?
Is there proof it really is what you say?
Or is the reason the obese use McDonald's as a cheep and instant way to stock an already blazing
furnace?
If They were to be closed would generations to come be thin and blissfully unaware but
grateful...........or go to Burger King or square pizza palace instead? |

You people are so stereotypical McDonald's is fine i love McDonald's and i eat it in moderation just
because you have turned obese don't mean you gotta blame McDonald's its stupidity |

They don't force people to eat their food. This is just ridiculous. If you want to do something
productive, require them to post nutrition facts and where the food came from.
STOP trying to save ignorant fatties! We don't need them! Let them eat McDonald's and let them die
as long as the nutrition facts are clear and it is their choice. |

They should just have to have more healthy things on their menu, and not some big greasy burger. |

Why specifically McDonald's? There are dozens of fast food restaurants, all selling unhealthy food.
It's all about choice. If you do not wish to eat at McDonald's then you don't have to, but we have
to accept that people enjoy this kind of food and it wouldn't be fair to take away people's freedom. |

Excessive amounts of salt and fat help to kill off the greedy people. We need them to slowly keep
cramming themselves until they become bedridden and slow, they can then be easily taken out with an
elephant gun. |

They don't hold people down and make them eat it. |

They have stated in the past that it's people's responsibility for what they eat, not McD's
franchise. Think about it. Go home and make some fries. Your doing the exact same thing. It's
your choice to eat from there or not. If you don't like it, spend $50 and go eat at Texas Roadhouse
or any other quality restaurant. |

A lot of food is unhealthy but there not going to close it all and furthermore if you don't like it
stop going there its just that plain and simple. I LOVE MCDONALDS FOOD and it may be unhealthy but
its not like i eat it every day of my life and people that do should be blaming themselves not the
food because all things on earth are potentially bad in excess. |

If "they" shut down McDonald's for being unhealthy, then they should also shut down Burger King,
Wendy's, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Dunkin' Donuts, all British pubs, steak houses, almost every
Chinese and Vietnamese restaurant currently operating in western countries and all establishments
that cook with trans fats. Clearly, this would mean that we would have to bid farewell to just about
every restaurant, with the exception of a handful of places that serve organic salads, wraps and
delicious carrot juice.
It is a misconception to think that the food at McDonald's is so much more unhealthy than the
deep-fried egg rolls and spring rolls they serve you in Chinese and Vietnamese restaurants, or that
ordering a bucket of chicken from KFC is a more health conscious choice than just ushering the kids
into the mini-van and taking them for a super-sized Big Mac.
Banning McDonald's be impractical, since you would have to expose all other restaurants to similarly
stringent regulations, which would force them out of business. Additionally, I don't think that it
is up to government authorities to decide what free citizens can and cannot eat. |

Who's "they" that should shut them down? The food nazis? Are you so quick to impose such tyranny?
Do you not value your freedom? |

It is fair enough to say that McDonald's food is a bit unhealthy but there are still many people
that like it and don't particularly care if it's unhealthy or not |
| |
|
| |
|
| |
|
|
First off, McDonald's food is no more unhealthy than any other fast food restaurant so if you want
to close that one, close them all. Secondly, it's none of your business what people eat, if they
want to stuff their face with artery-clogging fat, so be it. It's their life, not yours. Butt out. |

I’ll propose a solution that will solve the problem of unhealthiness and obesity for those who do
not wish to suffer such a miserable fate at the hands of that particular restaurant. Don’t go to
McDonald’s. It’s just crazy enough to work. |
