| The Proposed New Law On Murder Are A Good Idea. |
| As it is, their is only one sentence for murder, under the new laws a beaten wife can kill her abusive husband and be committed under manslaughter and a contract killer can be committed under mass murder rather that killing in excess. |

We should just execute all murderers, and use the same crude instruments every time to keep costs
down. |

There's too much leniency already for women who kill their husbands and the new law will only open
the door to more of it. So many women have got off with insignificant sentences after
pre-meditatedly killing their husbands who, they claimed, had abused them by striking them. There is
usually no proof of this. We just have to take the woman's word for it. And if she wasn't happy with
the marriage, why didn't she just leave?
The woman never usually argues that she was held against her will. What it really comes down to is
that the woman wanted the man to go out and earn money and bring it back to the household to fund
her lifestyle, but she is getting sick of the man himself. She could go out and earn money on her
own or find some other man to fund her lifestyle. But no, that's too complicated. Better just to
stay with the one allegedly abusive man then kill him when it gets too much.
I'm sure the leniency the courts have shown this crime has actually increased the incidence of it.
There have been women who plotted the murder of their husbands, planning to make up a story about
how he "abused" her afterwards. |
