You are right. It was a sensational movie. I did see Paint Your Wagon and I loved that, too. There was another funny Zero Mostel movie about a rhinoceros but I don't remember what it was. It's google time. Ok, I'm back. I googled it. It was actually called Rhinoceros and It was also with Gene Wilder, and this was supposed to have gone in the comment to you, finsch.

No it was one of the funniest movies ever when it was made in 1968 with Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder. I'm a fan of both Matt Broderick and Nate Lane but I'm not into the musical remakes. You want a funny musical try Paint Your Wagon. A young Clint sings with Lee Marvin. The first time I saw it I believe I actually did wet myself more than once.
