I agree that things will definitely get better once we have a democrat in office. Once we have a
democrat, things will probably level off, but no one will be able to completely fix all the damages
that Bush has created. He has literally destroyed this country worse than any other president in
history. The damages he has done are irreversible. Things will never be the same. A democrat will
work more for the people and will help Americans more, but it will be impossible for the democrat to
completely fix all the damages that have been done. It is that severe. |

I believe Obama is the best choice period...He has the flexibility, savy and smarts to really
catipult America back into a creative driving force in the world... He is already widely respected
throughout the world... As far as spending, the Republicans doubled our deficit and created more
government in the past eight years... Homeland Security... Another branch... 10billion borrowed
dollars a month for the Iraq war... An invisible war with no end... Where is the media showing how
great Iraq has become.... It's a mess that will break us economically... Don't count your small
chump change as a benefit to these eight years...everything went up...you evened out or went
deeper... But there is no justification for the 400,000 people that have died in Iraq over this war
or the fact that many people are homeless or losing their homes over deregulation in mortgages...
Mortgages should be a safe loan... Especially when children and families are involved...Ceo's
profiting on families in staggering multi million dollar pays.... Who raised these people.... What
monster do they call mom.... |

Actually, the average unemployment rate was lower under bush than Clinton. Look it up if you don't
believe me.
Dems will tax businesses to death...then businesses will lay people off....then unemployment will
rise...then individual taxes will increase to pay for those unemployed folks...then no one will have
any money and our businesses wont be able to compete with foreign companies.... And so on.
No way do we need a democrat in office right now. |

I think Bill Clinton was the worst president this country ever had. If you want to talk economy I
have grown my business much more under Bush plus have had the ability to start another business plus
made a lot more money since Bush got in. The problem with the economy as i see it is people
overspent on things, mainly houses and land .These things were overinflated and everyone spent what
they made and if that wasn't enough they just borrowed it, sooner or later it was going to catch up.
Bottomline is I think people need to change their spending habits and learn to make due with what
they have. |

Borrow more money from China??? I'm afraid that no, that will NOT fix the economy!
Don't you people realize that there is no money for all the social programs that the democrats are
promising??? Don't you see the value of our dollar diminishing??? |

Are you kidding? If the Democrats get into office with a democrat controlled senate all they will
do is spend spend spend. And let illegals take take take. |

It doesn't matter who you vote for, nobody is going to be able to fix the economy because you've
still got a split Congress and politicians would have to make severe cuts in services in order to
balance the budget, which means they'd lose their next election.
Republican, Democrat, Independent, it doesn't make a bit of difference. It's the SYSTEM that's
corrupt. |

I don't think a president has as much power over the economy as people would like to think. |
