I think love is a powerful emotion and feeds into so many others, like lust, joy, happiness, passion
etc. But I think as far as emotions go obsession is the strongest, in my eyes if someone is obsessed
it can outlast everything other emotion including love. It depends on the person, for me personally
I prefer love but I have known people who have been obsessed and it seems very powerful. |

Hate is hate is the most passionate offspring of love, therefore they are relative. |

I disagree that it is the only stronger emotion. Personally my two strongest emotion are anger/hate
and humor. For some love may be the strongest. We all have different emotions and feelings.
Everyones ranking order is different. |

Don’t confuse destructive potential with power. Hate is more likely to destroy the progenitor than
the recipient. To have power you must have control. And ultimately if you think about it, even at
its worst hate can only equal the power of love for a brief time. Because hate has no ability to
create, so it can only temporarily counter what love creates then its fury spent it slouches off and
love and determination begin to rebuild. |

I don't know, I've always felt anger could be the strongest emotion. When people get really angry
they can be capable of anything. I also tend to think that love isn't a single emotion, it is just a
word used to describe several emotions at once, such as lust, pleasure, happiness, adoration etc. |

Our societies exist but they barely coexist. This world is shrouded in anger and plagued with war
and violent ideals and actions which just ultimately consume and over shadow all love. Its
pessimistic and highly negative, but unfortunately hard to debate.
Suppose to be a comment for Grenache. |

If the claim were true then our societies couldn't exist. Cooperation, order, contribution, family,
friends, they all tie back to love one way or another. Granted sometimes hate will bubble to the
surface and overpower love but that doesn't mean it's a stronger emotion, instead it means hate gets
the short end of the stick so much of the time that we repress most of it and every now and then it
has to break out of the repression. |
