Upon consideration I find your statement somewhat intimidating, so I will agree in case this is the
first step in a line of actions that leads to you fulfilling your own prophecy. |

That could be one way to put it. In a survival situation the most involved or responsive person is
usually the one who survives longest. If being involved or responsive is the same as being the
nicest, then what you have said makes sense.
These survival shows we have on TV are travesties of real survival situations, because the ones who
win are usually the ones who do not want to be involved with the others, but who want everyone to be
involved with THEM, like they are the king or queen of everything. In real survival situations,
these "winners" would die off very early. |

That "nice person" would be quick to take a bullet for someone, and due to his niceness, he would be
the first to die.. |

Ya there is no hard statistical data or even hypothetical data to back this up./..how do you measure
nice in a person? How do you know who's the nicest? |

I don't think that's the case. As gottfried said, being nice or mean does not have a bearing on
when one dies.
My babysitter from when I was little was one of the sweetest, most genuine and loving people I have
ever known. She even gave her mother a card on her own birthday to thank her for having her.
Anyway, she passed very young, just after finally adopting a baby. It was so tragic. She had been
on fertility treatment which can increase your risk of ovarian cancer. She was diagnosed after
adopting the baby and did not live too long after the diagnosis. |

What you saying shayla? Being nice or mean has no bearing on how long you live. Certainly should
though. So we'd have less mean people, i guess. Sometimes bad things happen to good people, and bad
people are tyrannical and hurt many people. A tragedy. |
