Exactly, cause people who save peoples lives every day, like doctors, nurses, emergency services etc
get reallly bad pay whereas theres footballers out there kicking a ball round a pitch for about 2
hours a week and theyre earning millions every year. Not fair at all. |

Society does have it all wrong. Athletes and celebrities making more than teachers and doctors?
Doesn't make sense, does it? Who cares if you can sing. You can do that fir free, you don't have to
be paid millions of dollars to do it, same with acting and football and baseball. These things
should be for fun and if playing, acting or singing, you should make very little. It is way too
blown up. Teachers are struggling and not making ends meet, they are the ones teaching our children.
Our future is in these children's hands and here they are being taught by teachers who don't make
squat. As for the doctors, they don't make as much as celebrities, but they do rake in the money. |

Yes, the society is getting strange. Celebrities earn more than any one who is actually doing
something for us such as teacher, police, cleaner, ...and why celebrities deserve such high paid
salary? What kind influence they give society? Drunk, drug and stupid behavior? |

I agree and while the teachers are recieving little to nothing for their helpful work the sport
stars are recieving millions and millions for doing nothing helpful. Some would argue that these
people put hard work into doing their work, but teachers put 5-20 years of their life, depending on
grade level, into going to college and student teaching while the average football player puts in
3-5 years of athletes training and then consistent training throughout their career which may only
last 5-10 years. Teachers also going to teachers convention and relicensings throughout their
careers to continue teaching. Now on average a teacher makes anywhere from 1:5 - 1:100 of the salary
of a football player. |
