Don't blame the media for you being gulible. That you want to follow trends is a shortcoming in
your personality. Media tells us what we want to hear, or what the government wants you to think. I
think all the overweight people out there is proof against your arguement. This country is full of
obese, weak willed disgusting slobs who spend their days stuffing the faces of their families and
themselves with Fast food and sugary treats. I went to the mall recently and I couldn't believe it.
Either they had rolls of fat hanging off them or they were anorexic looking. Rarely did I see a
healthy medium. People don't exercise at all any more and when they do it's for 20 min at the gym.
Forget Hard work any more . That's what all the illegals are here for right?If you have healthy food
and don't eat then shame on you . So many people go hungry. I have in the past. And even worse are
those horrible people who actually buy those thick burgers and eat the whole thing with the greasy
fries. You can feed a village in Africa on 3 of those burgers. And what is up with those fat women
who think they look good wearing those stretchy tops where their fat rolls hang off for all to see.
Have they no shame? What made them think looking like the Michelin man was a good thing? This world
really depresses me. |

Monique is right, media is important for spreading info. Without it there would be very few
advancements in knowledge and very few people would know about them.
Plus, life would be friggin boring. |

In some ways you are right! But in most you are wrong! Without the media no-one would know anything
about the world they live in and they wouldn't be able to have entertainment! I personally think the
media is great!

should take pictures and I'll buy whatever magazine they are in. |

The reason the media got all that power in the first place, was people like shock-value and spent
the money on the star's celebrity.
Quit feeding it, and it will shrink away.
